Suki Fox began hosting small events in 2008 at pubs and bars in Southwestern Ontario. She found that she wanted to be involved in
an industry that was ever changing yet stays the same. Suki is known professionally to have an indelible passion and enthusiasm for
her work and creative problem solving. She also has great talents in imaginative design and thinking outside the box. Suki’s clients
are quick to compliment her on her ability to be cool under pressure. Her history involves working on tear down, clean up and on-site
office duties with Live Nation, the Deer Lake Concert Series and The Blues & Roots Festival. She is passionate about facilitating music
and contributing art, design and unique ideas to the event world. On her own time, Suki loves listening to electronic and rock music,
drawing, crafting and designing jewelry. Weekend activities for Suki include being creative, nature, being near the ocean and napping.
Suki enjoys volunteering for any music related events and anything that will give her a new experience. Non-profits are also important
to her, including “To Write Love On Her Arms” which dedicates its work to mental health awareness and suicide prevention.
Alicia Cifuentes was inspired to be involved in the events industry as a young child watching the Olympics and dreaming of being
involved in the grandest event in the world. She discovered a love for planning events when she signed on with the ALS Society of BC
& Yukon as Entertainment Coordinator in 2011. Alicia enjoyed fundraising with a non-profit and set a precedent for all ALS walks
around British Columbia to bring music and children’s entertainment to inspire the families of those affected with ALS and honour
their loved ones. At the time, Alicia was working as a Legal Secretary and found that her creativity was yearning to be put to use.
Alicia is known for her passion for social events, keeping her finger on the pulse of Vancouver and having a can-do attitude. Those
that work with her say that she is a detail-oriented problem-solving worker that takes events to the next level and is always ready
for a challenge. Alicia is most passionate about creating experiences for clients and guests, changing perceptions about the event
industry and those who work in it, and introducing the world to Vancouver and everything it has to offer. Personally, Alicia is passion-
ate about discovering new music and enjoying live shows. On her free time, Alicia can be found at yoga class, spending time with her
two young nephews, or wining and dining in beautiful Vancouver. Alicia enjoys volunteering for live music events and non-profits and
is especially loyal to Keep A Breast Canada, who have revolutionized fundraising merchandise and incorporating music to empower
youth to take their health into their own hands.

TEAM BIOSSelena Styan found the event world was a perfect fit because she was seeking a fast paced and ever changing career and enjoys work-
ing with people. She had organized small events growing up and wanted to explore planning larger ones. Selena is known to be a
problem solver who designs creative site plans and has a great communication line with others. She excels at providing comfort for all
guests and ensuring their enjoyment of any event. Selena is a hard working, approachable professional that is able to stay calm and
collected in any situation. Selena has worked with the Victoria music festival, Rifflandia, assisting with ticket sales, information booth,
merchandise sales, snack bars and clean up. Selena is passionate about the fact that in the events industry every workday has the
possibility of meeting new people in diverse projects. She also looks forward to planning positive events for attendees and workers.
Along with biking and sustainability, Selena is passionate about visual art and creating positive events that have a great impact. When
Selena is not busy working, she can be found at the beach or park with loved ones or enjoying free Wi-Fi at a coffee bar downtown. She
enjoys volunteering at music festivals and with youth groups. In particular, Selena has a close connection with the soup kitchen, “Our
Place” in Victoria, which offers a sense belong to the city’s most vulnerable citizens.
Ni Zhao has always loved performing arts and stage design, and developed a passion for events while assisting in fashion shows
and plays. She has been planning events since 2006 and is eager to learn and explore the coordination of larger events. Ni is most
known for her patience, critical thinking abilities and a foresight for possible pitfalls in events. She is adaptable to varying needs
and is thoughtful with co-workers, clients and staff. Ni has experience working “Anime Evolution” as a site-plan manager, working
with the Richmond Night Market as on-site coordinator and coordinating merchandise sales for “Soul Walk Vancouver.” Ni finds
herself to be most passionate in her profession when she is introducing people to new experiences and maximizing the impact

interacting with animals and culture research are on Ni’s favourites list for weekend activities. Ni has been singing and casually
drawing for her whole life and involved in stage design for two years. In her spare time, Ni enjoys volunteering with the performing

Alicia enjoyed fundraising with a non-profit and set a precedent for all ALS walks around British Columbia to bring music and children’s entertainment to inspire the families of those affected with ALS and honour their loved ones.
