Only 5 Honeywellers were keep on during the whole long project phase
• FEED (Front End Engineering Design) Phase
– FEED Documentation – AMS Functional Detailed Specification
– Review of AMS part of Technical Proposal.
– Lead and Perform an interoperability test with valves from
Mansoneilan/Samson/Yamatake.
– Provide help and support for other team members (Project
Manager/Engineering Manager/Hardware Engineer/Software
Engineer) in other activities

– Coach 2 new Honeywell employees, who are in charge of 5 other Units and
administer 3rd party resources.
Zhenhai MAV contains 4 CCRs. Each CCR has an Engineering Leader

More encourage and share the experience of
myself as a new comer
Request them to write down the working
procedures to share with each other
More communications with customers and
EPCs to help them feel ease
Learn from each other. One is good at
network and the other is good at PLC.

qualified to be in charge of one complex
chemical unit as a lead engineer.

limitations.
Even to Honeywell’s subcontract
partners most of experienced
resources are already occupied by
other mega projects.
Most of the LCEs are zero
experienced in career.
All LCEs are eager to learn some
new things and strong willing to be
growing up enough.

To LCEs
Trust them and treat them the same as
Honeywellers
Effective on-job training by myself
Give them great responsibilities and keep
good tracking of the quality.

Motivated and active
Through the practice in my team, 3 Junior
new comers subcontractors is turned out to
be qualified engineers. Their labor rate
increased form 5 to 10-15USD/Hr.

rate is nearly 0, which is quite tough
from the prospect of project
management.
