supported by this Documentum suite is Oracle JRE 6 update 27. However due to bank’s security
mandate the JRE had to be upgraded to JRE 1.6 update 51. Due to this there were compatibility
issues which was coming up in the application. EMC had provided a patch which was intended to fix
this issue. However there were compatibility issues in the customized components which had to be
resolved.

Description:
CRMDocs is one of the key apps which is being used by the bank for handling Credit Risk Activities.
The application is used for filing and maintaining Credit Applications for various clients known as
counterparties. A new process FSCM (Financial Supply and Chain Management) had to be
introduced in the application. This brought in the concept of buyer and seller counterparties (known as
POOL) within the application. Credit filing and maintenance had to be implemented for Pools as it was
being done for counterparties within the application. The challenge was how to make the pool an
independent utility within the system as they were a combination of counterparties.
