This fine Grande Marque house uses a high proportion of its own grapes in their blends, 85% of which are from Grand Cru or
Premier Cru vineyards. Pinot Noir is the predominant variety, but this is cleverly teamed with Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier to

Dom Pérignon
There is no greater figure in the annals of Champagne than Dom Pierre Pérignon, who, at the Abbey of Hautvillers, dedicated
47 years of his life to raising the art of wine making to another level. The wine that now carries his name is a worthy legacy
– no other Champagne manages to combine such perfection with such dash and panache.

Gardet
Established at the end of the 19th century, Champagne Gardet owns seven hectares of Premier Cru vineyards with the rest of their
requirements being bought in from growers with whom they have formed long and close relationships. Stéphanie Sucheyre took
over as wine maker in 2007 bringing with her a fresh approach and renewed dynamism. She is taking full advantage of all the
opportunities that modern technology offers but is determined to guard the traditions of this well grounded family business.

Gosset
Pierre Gosset was Mayor of Ay when, in 1584, he founded his boutique Champagne House. Gosset still has a site in Ay although
they have now a grander establishment in Épernay as well. They attach great importance to the specific character of each
individual terroir and, using their long standing contacts, they blend together the best Crus from 45 Grand and Premier Cru
villages to great effect. They believe in the old ways, not only is the fruit all harvested by hand, but the ‘rémuage’ (turning of the
bottles) is all done by hand as well. The results speak for themselves.

Louis Boyier, H. Blin
Named after Alfred Louis Bower, founder of El Vino wine bars and merchants, and Lord Mayor of London 1924-25. This
Champagne has been a firm favourite with El Vino customers since it was first imported in 1897. Pinot Meunier dominant, the
House is situated in the Marne Valley where this grape flourishes producing a unique, subtle freshness and fruitiness. Davy’s
acquired El Vino in 2015.

Krug
From its foundation in 1843, the much respected House of Krug realised that the secret of Champagne lay in the blending rather
than in reliance on the wines of a single year. Krug Grande Cuvée is blended from up to 30 different Premier Cru plots, some
no bigger than a back garden, and from as many as ten different vintages, all barrel fermented. Lovingly hand crafted, this is a
creamy beauty.

Laurent-Perrier
Laurent Perrier was purchased by Marie-Louise de Nonancourt in 1938. The family have worked wonders with this House, due to
their dedication, vision, and determination Laurent-Perrier is now the third largest selling Champagne in the world. As befits such
a traditional outfit, the current ‘Chef de Cave’, Michel Fauconnet, has spent his working lifetime with the family. He, together with
the current young generation of de Nonancourt’s, Alexandra and Stephanie, is carrying the company forward.

Louis Roederer
One of the main strengths of this fine Champagne House is that it owns 214 hectares of vines in the three main Champagne
regions (Montagne de Reims, Vallée de la Marne, and the Côtes des Blancs) which provides two thirds of its needs. They believe
that the secret of any fine wine lies in the vineyards and it is no coincidence, therefore, that their Cellar Director is also their
Vineyard Director. Rich, powerful and classy,‘Roederer’ is hard to beat.

Pol Roger
Still family owned, Pol Roger may be one of the smallest of the ‘Grand Marque’ Champagne Houses but it is one of the very finest.
They own 87 hectares of vineyards and their seven kilometres of chalk cellars in Épernay are the coolest and deepest of the region,
which probably accounts for the exceptional finesse of their bubbles. Altogether a class act.

Paul Herard
The House of Paul Herard, situated in the Aube, was founded in 1925 and is well known for its Blanc de Noirs Champagne
produced from 100% Pinot Noir. The style is robust and beguiling with red berry fruit, mineral notes and refreshing acidity.

Sparkling
Richemont, Philippe Herard
This beautifully made sparkler comes from former Champagne producer Philippe Herard who has found a new home in
Burgundy’s Côte d’Or. It is made ‘Methode Traditionelle’ (both fermentations taking place in bottle) and all the wine making skills
of this long established wine making family are brought into play to great effect. Many different grape varieties are employed, each
carefully selected because they contribute something special to the final blend. Richemont NV is original, fragrant, and classical
with a lovely persistent mousse.

Château Peyronat Blaye, Côtes de Bordeaux
A small property in Blaye with 14 hectares of organic vineyards, focusing on biodiversity and allowing natural expression of the
terroir, which is based on clayey/calcareous soils. 90% Merlot and 10% Cab Sauv, treated with no chemicals, the grapes are
hand-harvested and the wine is aged in stainless steel.

Château Brisson Côtes de Castillon
Situated in Belvés de Castillon on the north bank of the Dordogne, east of Saint-Emilion. Owned since 1980 by Paul Valdés, the
vineyard consists of 18 hectares of mainly Merlot vines, averaging 30 years of age. Harvesting is done by hand, yields are kept low
and everything possible is done to enhance the biodiversity of the soil. Winemaking includes pre-fermentation maceration at cool
temperatures, gravity flow transfer and gentle pneumatic pressing. Wines are aged in French oak barrels.

Château Gaury Balette Entre-Deux-Mers
It is quite a trek out to Mauriac but you only have to meet Bernard Yon to know that you have come to the right place, he is such a
dedicated and charming professional. Gaury Balette Rouge is made from 50/50 Cabernet Merlot and the Blanc is a blend of
Sauvignon Blanc, Sauvignon Gris and Semillon.

Château Beaumont Haut-Médoc
This large estate has a fine position right in the centre of the Médoc between Saint-Julien and Margaux. Beaumont are passionate
about sustainable farming and they are justly proud of their certification by ‘Terra Vitis’; wines from this estate have been getting
better and better of late. Both rich and crowd pleasing they are amongst the best of the Cru Bourgeois.

Château Lanessan Haut-Médoc
Lanessan is an estate that is fully worthy of its Cru Bourgeois status. It has a great position on a gravelly plateau in the centre of the
Médoc towards Saint-Julien overlooking the Gironde and adjacent to Ch Gruaud Larose. The wine making here has moved up several
gears under the careful eyes of Pez Espajo, manageress since 2009. Some really good value wines are to be found here.

Château du Moulin Rouge Haut-Médoc
This estate has been passed down through thirteen generations of the same family and it would be an understatement to say that
they were passionate about it. It has a great position just south of Saint-Julien-Beychevelle, they use plenty of new oak and
everything is worked by hand. A favourite of Robert Parker, who in his book ‘Bordeaux’ describes it as: “… somewhat reminiscent
of such wines as Hortevie and Terrey-Gros-Caillou. Of course, du Moulin Rouge is significantly less expensive since it is entitled
only to the Haut-Médoc appellation”.

Château Les Haut Conseillants Lalande de Pomerol
Château Les Haut Conseillants is the dream of a tenacious man. In 1973, Leopold Figeac decided to restore the 4ha estate in
Lalande de Pomerol. Later he purchased another 6 ha with his daughter and son in law. All his efforts have been justified since the
Château is now well regarded in the appellation and is still run by his grandson Jean Baptiste Bourotte.

Château Angludet Margaux
Owned and managed by the Sichel family, Angludet has a great ‘terroir’ in Margaux overlooking the lower lying land of the
Gironde. Covering 81 hectares with vines averaging 25 years old, Château Angludet is one of the oldest estates in the Médoc
which, over time, has proved their name to be synonymous with quality. This is a real gem and terrific value.

Château Kirwan Margaux
A 3ème Cru Classé Margaux property that has hit fine form in the last decade. Named after its Irish proprietor who was
guillotined in 1792. Since 1925 Kirwan has been owned by the négociant firm, Schröder and Schÿler. The beautiful 18th century
château has 35 hectares of vineyards. The wine is typically 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 10%
Petit Verdot. Grapes are hand-harvested and then fermented in temperature-controlled, stainless-steel tanks. The wine is then
matured in oak barriques (30-50% new) for 18 months.

Château Palmer Margaux
Named after a British officer, Major General Palmer, who settled in Bordeaux in 1814, Palmer is second only to Château Margaux
in the Margaux appellation. The vineyards are planted to Cabernet Sauvignon 55%, Merlot 40% and Cabernet Franc 5% and lie
on excellent terroir on a sparse gravel plateau. Palmer’s relatively high percentage of Merlot makes Palmer closest in style, of any
leading Medoc property, to the great wines of Pomerol and Saint-Émilion.

Château Rocher-Calon Montagne-Saint-Émilion
Returning home after WW1, Pierre Lagardere, current owner Gael’s great grandfather, bought a hectare of land in Pomerol thus
beginning the family tradition of winemaking. Over the next four generations the family increased their acreage through the
acquisition of new vineyards throughout Libournais and recently invested in state of the art equipment – boasting temperature
controlled ageing cellars, pneumatic wine press and micro-oxygenation equipment. Château Rocher-Calon is situated on some of
the best soils of Montagne Saint-Émilion and normally constitutes a blend of 95% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc. A qualitative
approach to viticulture is standard, with green harvesting, leaf-removals and hand picking the norm.

Château Batailley Pauillac
The name of this Château is said to originate from a ‘bataille’ fought 600 years ago between the French and the English on the site
of the property. Owned by Denise and Emile Castèja of negociants Borie-Manoux, their son Philippe now runs the business. The
55 hectares of vineyards (Cabernet Sauvignon 70%, Merlot 25%, Cabernet Franc 3%, Petit Verdot 2%) are on gravel, underpinned
by clay limestone. Hand-harvested grapes are fully de-stemmed before fermentation in stainless steel and aging in 225-litre
barriques, 60% new, for 16 months.

Château Haut Bages Libéral Pauillac
Château Haut-Bages-Libéral is one of the great value Pauillac estates, owned since 1983 by the Taillan Group who also own
Chasse-Spleen and Cos d`Estournel. Their 29-hectares lie between Château Latour and the 2 Pichons. The vineyards (Cabernet
Sauvignon 80%, Merlot 17%, Petit Verdot 3%) lie on deep gravel beds over limestone. Wines are matured in oak barriques (40%
new) for 16-18 months.

Château Pedesclaux Pauillac
Founded in 1810, the vineyard covers 46 hectares, planted to 47% Cabernet Sauvignon, 48% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot and 2%
Cabernet Franc. Substantial reinvestment has taken place here since 2011 under new ownership and the results are already very
note worthy. Well worth a visit to view the beautiful winery and Château, as well as some excellent wines being produced with a
great leap in quality. One to watch.

Château Olivier Pessac-Léognan
Surrounded by moats and an immense forest, this 12th Century Château is truly a sight to behold. Fashioned by the terroir in
which they are rooted, shaped by all those who work the vines day after day, the wines of Château Olivier are a magnificent
expression of their appellation among the six Classified Growths of Graves.

Château du Tailhas Pomerol
Owned by the Nebout family since 1932, Tailhas follows sustainable winemaking practices, with vines reaching up to 70 years old.
Eleven hectares of vines, close to Château Figeac at the border with Saint-Émilion, with 80% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon
and 10% Cabernet Franc.

Château La Dominique Saint-Émilion
La Dominique had an illustrious reputation in the 19th century but was in decline until purchased by Clément Fayat in 1969 who
brought in consultant Michel Rolland. La Dominique vineyards adjoin those of Cheval Blanc, the soils are a mixture of limestone,
gravel, sand and clay and the 22 hectares of vineyards are planted with Merlot (80%), Cabernet Franc (15%) and Cabernet
Sauvignon (5%). The grapes are fermented in temperature-controlled, stainless steel tanks and the wine is then aged in oak
barriques (50-60% new) for 18 months.

Château Sansonnet Saint-Émilion
Château Sansonnet is at the highest point of the clay limestone plateau of Saint-Émilion. The vineyard is 7 hectares in size,
planted to 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc. Marie-Bénédicte Lefévère took over management in 2009 with an intention to
raise the estate to the top of the appelation, Château Sansonnet was deservedly promoted to Grand Cru Classé status in 2012.

Château Capbern Gasqueton Saint-Estèphe
This is owned and managed by Château Calon Segur. It is a great property lying close to the Gironde with a very friendly
micro climate. Add to that careful oak ageing and hand harvesting and you begin to see that this is a Château that is serious
about quality.

Château de Come Saint-Estèphe
De Come is a tiny property owned by Baron Maurice Velge who has previously worked at both Mouton and as cellar master at Clerc
Milon. Just 7 hectares of chalky soils are planted to 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Merlot, averaging 35 years old. Picking is by
hand and vinification in thermoregulated concrete vats. The wines are then aged for 12 to 14 months in 1/3 new barrels.

Château Montrose Saint-Estèphe
One of the leading wine properties of Saint-Estèphe. Located on a gravel bed close to the Gironde estuary which ensures a
microclimate that protects against frost. Typically a blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc,
matured in oak barriques (30% new) for 18 months. Dame de Montrose is a serious wine in its own right.

Château du Glana Saint-Julien
One of the top Cru Brougeois properties in Saint-Julien, with 44 hectares of vines. The wines are made using temperature
controlled fermentation followed by 12 months ageing in one third new oak barrels. Fined using egg whites and lightly filtered, the
wines are of a very high quality.

Lagrange received heavy new investment in 1983 and has been living up to its 3eme Cru Classes status ever since. Fairly priced it
offers high class but ‘affordable’ pleasure.

Château Léoville Barton Saint-Julien
Château Léoville Barton is the smallest of the Léovilles, there is no château and the wine is made at Langoa Barton. 48 hectares on
gravelly-clay soils, planted with Cabernet Sauvignon 72%, Merlot 20%, Cabernet Franc 8%. The wine is matured in oak barriques
(50% new) for 18 months. There is such a following for these wines that they are often kept in private cellars making them hard to
find. After Langoa Barton, Reserve and Mauvesin (a new addition in 2012) complete the family offering.

Château Talbot Saint-Julien
Named after John Talbot, Earl of Shrewsbury who died at in 1453 at the Battle of Castillon. One of the largest estates in the Médoc,
its 102 hectare single vineyard is planted to Cabernet Sauvignon (66%), Merlot (26%), Cabernet Franc (3%), and Petit Verdot (5%)
– the vinification includes 18 months maturation in small oak barriques (50% new).

Sauternes
Bordeaux’s most famous region for producing dessert wine is situated 20 miles south of the city, spanning both banks of the Garonne
and Ciron Rivers. These waterways provide the perfect misty morning microclimate to encourage the growth of Botrytis Cinerea
(also known as Noble Rot). The rot attacks the grape evaporating the water, concentrating the sugar levels. Sauternes are some of the
longest lived wines with premium examples from exceptional vintages having the potential to last 100 years or more. They are
characterised by their balance of sweetness and zest of acidity with typical notes of apricots, honey, peaches with a nutty edge.

Monbazillac
Château Fonmourgues
“We hope to be fully organic with the 2014 vintage” enthuses Dominique Vidal, the owner of Château Fonmourgues,“we are
nearly there”. The whole operation at this tiny estate is managed by hand, from harvesting the fruit to getting the wine into the
bottle. Only the ripest, botrytis affected, grapes are selected and the yields, which average between 20 to 30 hectolitres per hectare,
are tiny; quality here overrules quantity. The two classic Sauternes grapes, Semillon (60%) and Sauvignon (10%) form the major

Cave Talmard Mâconnais
Uchizy lies to the north of Mâcon, next to the village of Chardonnay. Not much happens other than wine making and Talmard is

and well rounded, and a fine example of how good Mâcon can be.

Domaine d’Elise Chablis
Frederic Prain is incredibly passionate about his vines and winemaking. He is an engineer by profession which probably came in
useful when in the early 1980’s he took over Domaine d’Elise in Chablis. This fascinating pocket size Domaine, which lies at Milly
just above the Premier Cru vineyards of the Côte de Léchet, is split almost equally between Petit Chablis and Chablis although

Domaine des Malandes Chablis
The strength of this family Domaine lies in their having vineyards in all the Chablis appellations. A scion of the Tremblay family
(growers in Chablis for generations), Lyne Marchive together with her husband, Jean Bernard, manage the estate with a sure hand.
They know the region well and believe firmly that the best results can be achieved only if you are respectful of the soil; they are

This estate lies on the rocky plateau of des Roques, a hamlet on the outskirts of Vacqueyras. Owned and run by the Seroul family,
this is managed on traditional lines with the harvesting and sorting of all the fruit carried out by hand. The blend is classic Southern
Rhône Valley (70% Grenache, 15% Mouvèdre, and 15% Syrah) with the vines being, on average, over forty years old. Eclipsed in
reputation to some extent by the wines from its more illustrious neighbours, Gigondas and Châteauneuf, Vacqueyras has plenty to
offer and deserves to be much better known.

Domaine Font de Michelle
Font de Michelle owes its current form to Etienne Gonnet, who worked closely with his brother-in-law Henri Brunier of Vieux
Télégraphe – the neighbouring estate in Bédarrides. It is now owned by his sons Michel and Jean, and largely run by their sons
Guillaume and Bertrand respectively, with the help of Guillaume’s Australian wife, Kelly. Their house style is all about purity and
expression of fruit. The wine is matured in large old barrels called “foudres” and smaller-size oak fûts, or casks that are used for only
two to five wine maturations.

Frederic Reverdy (Ferraton Père Fils)
Founded in 1946 by Jean Ferraton and his father-in-law Frédéric Reverdy. In 1998, Samuel Ferraton, 4th generation created a
partnership with M. Chapoutier who subsequently acquired the premises in 2006. The estate has gone from strength to strength,
practising biodynamic cultivation methods since 1998, expanding to a negotiant arm in 2004 and investing in a state of the art

Pouilly-Fumé lies across the river Loire from Sancerre where it produces only half as much wine as its better known neighbour.
The region has many small growers and some of the best of these have grouped together to form ‘Caves de Pouilly-sur-Loire’
reasoning that by pooling resources they are assured access to the best wine making facilities available. This is of enormous help
in making vibrant, aromatic Sauvignon in this relatively northern wine growing area. Well founded and well managed, wines made

The Becker family’s winemaking legacy dates back to 1610 in Zellenberg, with the estate now in the hands of the 13th generation.

Grandiose
‘Grandiose’ is the name for the series of top quality varietals that are selected and produced under the watchful eye of a group of
growers in the South of France. Their Sauvignon comes from the Gascony region to the west of Toulouse. At harvest time, two
pickings are made, the early one gives freshness and the grassy aromas and the second, which is made when the grapes are more
developed, adds the richer flavours and the smooth texture.

Domaine de Pellehaut
This fine Domaine, which lies in the Gers, in South West France has been in the same family for over 300 years, a record that few
others can match. The two brothers, Martin and Mathieu Beraut, who are now in charge produce a range of wines with only the best
cuvées being allowed to carry the estate name. Their wine making is of the very highest order; their white is an exotic mix of
traditional grapes, and local varieties such as Manseng; their red is a pungent blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Tannat, and Syrah
which is partially oak aged. The Rosé is made from the same varieties but the juice is drawn off before it absorbs too much colour.

Bolney Wine Estates
This family run vineyard began with only three acres under vine in 1972 but it enjoyed a renaissance in the 1990’s when Samantha
Linter, daughter of founders Janet and Rodney Pratt, took over the wine making. Samantha, who gave up teaching hairdressing to
study viticulture, has built up the estate to 39 acres and now heads an all female team which includes her own daughter, Charlotte.

S A Prüm
The Prüm name has been synonymous with quality wine production in the Mosel for generations, where the family has been
cultivating vineyards and producing wine in the region since 1156. In summary, S A Prüm was the original, dominant Prüm name until
1911 when branches of the family went their own ways (i.e. J J Prüm). The grandson of the vineyard´s namesake, Sebastian Alois Prüm
(1794-1871), also Sebastian Alois, established the winery in 1911. His son and now grandson, the present day Raimund, who inherited
the vineyards in 1971, continue the traditions with his daughter Saskia. Since 1971 the winery was modernised and the vineyards
further developed, consistently producing wines with an international following. The 13 ha of vineyards are exclusively planted with
Riesling on the steep slopes of the middle Mosel.

Azienda Agricola Sellari Franceschini
Founded in 1860, the estate is currently run by Dr Mario Gallori, who manages the winery as well as his day job as a vet.
The principal grape variety grown at the estate is Morellino, a derivation of Sangiovese which is unique to Scansano. Morellino
makes up at least 87% of the blend, with up to 14 other grape varieties completing the assemblage. After fermentation, the wine
is aged for 22-24 months in chestnut barrels and a further 6 months in bottle before being released.

Castello di Romitorio
Castello Romitorio winery takes its name from a twelfth-century fortress that sits atop a hill surrounded by thick oak forest in
North western Montalcino. Abandoned in the 1950’s its rebirth as a winery occurred in 1984 when Artist Sandro Chia acquired
the estate from his friend Baron Giorgio Franchetti. The restoration of ‘Castello Romitorio’ began immediately, followed by the
transformation of its overgrown lands into vineyards, and the construction of a cellar on the Castle’s ground floor. Twenty years
later in the year 2006, the winery broke ground on a new state-of-the art underground cellar completed in 2007.

Named in honour of the oenologist’s grandfather, Avelino, Quinta do Avelino was created. The family’s history of wine making goes
back more than a hundred years with the fourth generation now in charge. Their only wine is made from 100% Treixadura, a white
grape variety found in the Ribeiro region, grown on nearly three hectares cultivated naturally and hand harvested. The grape must is
drawn and fermented at very low temperatures to keep the aromatic concentration at its most pure and is then aged on the lees.

This thoroughly up to date winery lies just to the south of Barcelona only ten kilometres from the Mediterranean. Fully organic,
this estate is blessed with many different types of soil so they can produce wines of diversity and complexity. The Cava they make
is a fine example: Parellada from the hills gives floral freshness, Macabeu from the middle heights adds fruitiness, and Xarel•lo
from the plains gives body and structure. The delicious Clasico Blanco is a blend of the same varieties but in different

The Viña Albares vineyards cover around 25 hectares, just to the south of Albares in the wine growing region of El Bierzo. Once
owned by the Archbishop of Tarragona, they lie on the old pilgrim route to Santiago de Compostela; some of the plots are over
100 years old and the fruit produced is of exceptional quality. The indigenous grape in this area is Mencia, a variety that has a
concentrated black cherry, herbal character which makes it really special. Careful vineyard management, hand picking and
thoughtful use of French oak complete the picture.

Emporda Cellar Martí Fabra–Masia Carreras
Masia Carreras is a collection of small vineyard plots situated in the Catalan hillsides of the Alberes Mountain Range, where the
Carreras family have produced wine since the 13th century. Towards the end of the 19th century, many of the family’s vineyards
were decimated by phyloxera and only the best sites were retained and re-planted in the early part of 20th century. The vineyard
boasts a wealth of autochthonous varieties including Lladoner, a derivation of Grenache all of which have naturally evolved
without the use of mass selection or implementation of uniform clones, meaning that no one vine is the same as the next. The
low yielding indigenous vines are around 60-80 years old and are supplemented by younger plantings of international varieties, to
provide balance when blended. The wines of Masia Carreras are complex and unique, a throwback to the great wines of long ago.

Rías Baixas Adegas Pombal a Lanzada
Adegas Pombal a Lanzada is a small family owned and operated winery drawing from two hectares of vines from some of the finest
terroirs of Rías Baixas. The name derives from a long stretch of beach, which the winery overlooks called ‘La Playa Lanzada’. The
family has been growing grapes and producing wine from their vines for generations, they have only recently made the wine
commercially available to the general public. All of the vines are cultivated organically and hand harvested before undertaking
fermentation in stainless steel tanks using indigenous yeasts. Malolactic fermentation is prevented from taking place in order to
preserve the purity of fruit, with six months ageing on the lees to provide extra depth and complexity.

Finca Las Moras, Est 2001, is a pioneer winery dedicated to the production of high-quality wines located in the province of
San Juan, the second largest wine region in Argentina after Mendoza. The Reserva range is sourced from the Perdenal Valley,
renowned for producing quality wines at high altitude, averaging 1300m, which offers an abundance of bright sunshine and heat
during the day with a cool temperature at night. This large ‘diurnal’ temperature results in perfect growing conditions in an area
that would otherwise be considered too hot for grape growing. The Perdenal (Spanish for flint) Valley has a unique soil that

Lying in the foothills of Mount Brown in Waipara Valley this abandoned wine estate was only rediscovered ten years ago and it is

Hawkes Bay Paritua
‘Paritua Vineyards’ is anchored firmly in the heart of North Island’s Hawkes Bay region. The fruit used by Paritua is sourced from

Not every English wine grower has vines also in the New World, but Daphne and David Briscoe are nothing if not adventurous.
Having learned their craft at their small vineyard in Hertfordshire, they jumped at the chance when Vierkoppen, a 30 acre estate
lying in the Brede River Valley in South Africa, came up for sale. The fruit is selected bunch by bunch and then picked by hand,
the pressing is done manually and there is ‘minimum intervention’. Their wines are rich and opulent and we think that this small
‘garage estate’ has bags of potential.

All prices shown are per case (9 litres) with the exception of 50cl bottle case (6 litres), exclusive of VAT and inclusive of duty.
All items are subject to stock remaining unsold and to exchange, duty and market fluctuations.
Broken or out of condition items must be reported immediately. Prices valid until April 2017.
Sale or return by prior agreement only
All goods returned must be in a resalable condition and only unopened cases will be accepted. We are unable to accept any items that do not appear in this
list. A minimum collection charge of £8.47 ex VAT will be applied to all sale or return orders.
Availability and substitutions
We do our utmost to make sure that every wine in the price list is available. From time to time we may run out of a particular wine or vintage, when this
happens we will contact you to try and offer a suitable alternative.
Delivery charges
Delivery is FREE for orders over £250 +VAT to a single UK mainland address, additional charges may apply to areas of Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isle
of Wight. All orders of less than £250 +VAT will be subject to a delivery charge (minimum £8.47 +VAT).
