One of the main goals of the I-BiDaaS project is to provide a Big Data as a self-service solution that will empower the actual employees of European companies in targeted sectors (banking, manufacturing, telecom), i.e., the true decision-makers, with the insights and tools they need in order to make the right decisions in an agile way. In this big data pilot webinar, we will demonstrate in a step by step fashion the I-BiDaaS self-service solution and its application to the banking sector. In more detail, we will present an overview of the I-BiDaaS project focusing on the requirements of the CaixaBank pilot study, the I-BiDaaS architecture with its core technologies, and a step by step demo of the I-BiDaaS solution. Last but not least, we will show through CaixaBank's success story how I-BiDaaS can resolve data availability, data sharing, and breaking silos challenges in the banking domain.

There is an urgent need for a new generation of computational theories and tools to assist researchers in extracting useful information from the rapidly growing volumes of digital data. This Journal provides a forum for researchers who address this issue and to present their work in a peer- reviewed open access forum. Authors are solicited to contribute to the workshop by submitting articles that illustrate research results, projects, surveying works and industrial experiences that describe significant advances in the following areas, but are not limited to these topics only.

However the personal data we bring to this space can be used in many inappropriate ways: Instagram stories are scraped to target advertisement; faces in family photographs are used to train the ML systems that will scan crowds for suspects; the devices we thought we owned end up owning us; and our browsing histories are stored and scanned by governments and private companies. This creates a tension for public service organisations as they try to deliver value to audiences and users online. In this session experts from the BBC Research & Development, Finnish Broadcasting Company YLE, and PublicSpaces will consider how to resolve these tensions, and look at some specific interventions aimed at providing value to audiences and communities through the responsible use of private data in online public spaces.

With the help of the other technical leads, he will elaborate on the key technology trends identified in the BIG Project and how they bring data-driven value to industrial sectors.
