Stephen Webb is Professor of Social Work at Glasgow Caledonian University in Scotland. His journal article on evidence-based practice (2001) is the world’s most highly cited article in the research field and the most influential publication over the last ten years (Hodge et al., 2011). The book for Sage 'Handbook of Social Work' (2012) is the world's first major international reference work in the field.
