- Moontown Foundation is a non-profit 501 C3 organization that I founded in October 2006 to address the issues of environmental, social and economic inequality. Our mission is to help people protect the planet and achieve social and economic prosperity, or the triple bottom line.
- For the past three years we have introduced dozens of teens and young adults to conservation careers to include:TransportationBuilding ScienceWind PowerSolar PowerBiofuelsAnd Sustainable Agriculture
- We take an integrated, whole systems approach to developing replicable and scalable solutions regarding sustainability. Currently, we are working with the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction on K-12 sustainability curriculum.

- We need to have an approach to education that teaches environmental, social and economic sustainability K through 20. We also need to encourage lifelong learning and that there are multiple pathways to personal and professional success is our country. We need more skilled trades professional. People who can build and manufacture things.It’s important to tell our youth that it’s ok to attend a community college or vocational school. It’s were people learn just in time skills and earn certifications.And at the four year level, we have to graduate more people with Masters and PhD’s in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.
- Case in point, seven generations ago in African American’s in this nation were considered property at worse or 3/5ths a person at best. And today, we have a brotha’, kinda nerdy, kinda’ stiff
