Developed Java program performance monitoring system to gather and produce realtime performance charts and
reports for the Data Replication TME team’s projects (performance and functionality tests). Also developed numerous
Perland PerlCGI systems againist a MYSQL Data Base to support TME Lab management and simplify performance
reporting requirements. Managed all tape verification testing for this TME team.
Managed the Technical Marketing Engineering Lab for the Data Replication TME team in NETAPP RTP,NC.
Purchased and implemented IT infrastructure equipment to support the performance and functionality testing of new
NETAPP hardware and software releases.
Managed three Riverbed Steelhead WAN optimization units (6000 series) for enhanced data replication throughput
interfacing with the NetApp Storage product line. Also managed competing WAN optimization units for NetApp
interface testing (Silverpeak, etc). Captured performance data and develop performance reports on comparative
network throughput with the Steelheads and competitive WAN optimization units. Upgraded hardware and software
for these Riverbed units over a four year period. Coded Excel Marcos to produce performance charts for technical
marketing engineers. Developed a Java application to extract Netapp Filer performance counters to display real-time
performance charts of up to four filers simultaneously.
