2. Step one: There is a fault line in the crust, like in volcanoes and earthquakes there is a fault line. Step two: When the fault line occurs it send a chunk of crust into the earth’s surface creating a wave upward to form a tsunami. Step three: It grows and grows, it also gets slower when it gets closer to shore. Step four: When it finally reaches land it destroys everything in it’s way. What happens

5. A very long time ago Wairere The Sea God and Aoturoa The Earth Goddess were happily married. Wairere had his water and Aoturoa had her land. After time they had children, Arai ahi The Fire God and Puanani The Wind Goddess, both children were fighting all the time. One day Wairere took Puanani and Arai ahi to have a walk through the wildlife for a couple of hours. Aoturoa had always been attracted to Rangi, the sky god, Aoturoa’s lust for Rangi had finally got the best of her. When Wairere came back with Arai ahi and Puanani he was shaking with anger, Aoturoa was caught kissing Rangi. Wairere chased Rangi all the way back to the sky. Aoturoa and Wairere divorced, Wairere raised Arai ahi and Aoturoa raised Puanani. After many days Wairere realised what he would do to get back at Aoturoa for what she did. The next day Wairere used all his power to create a giant tsunami, he swished and sloshed and rose up. The wave went faster and faster and faster until smash! All the trees and wildlife were being taken hostage by the power of the deadly force. Wairere had destroyed Aoturoa and her trees, water and earth will never be together again. So whenever Wairere is angry he will send a wave to Aoturoa to show her the pain he has always suffered. Wairere and Aoturoa
