3. Abstract
Since the mid-1970s a number of studies have investigated the nature
and frequency of corporate social responsibility disclosures, their
patterns and trends, and their general relationships to corporate size
and profitability. This study seeks to extend our knowledge of the
relationship between a number of corporate characteristics and specific
types of social responsibility disclosures, based on an extensive
sample of U.S. corporate annual reports. Corporate size and industry
category are found to correlate with certain types of disclosures while
the existence of a corporate social responsibility committee appears to
correlate with one particular type of disclosure

6. 3 Kinds of CSR
CSR is a part of our every day life, even that we don't notice it.
When you visit the gasoline station and choose products with a
good reputation; when someone put money into a company with an
exemplary record; or when you invest in training of your
employees for future purposes . This is good business sense! CSR
is what the future of business is all about.
There are three kinds of responsibility:
economic, environmental and social.
Corporate social responsibility is an integral part. It is about
integrating the issues of the workplace, human rights, the
community and the marketplace into core business strategies
