• I have been in employment since October 2019
• Working through the covid pandemic and the pressures that that
included- helped to prepare for situations under pressure
• Variety of jobs at work through the past years- including mostly team
work
• Gained customer experience- preparation for working with patients if I
go into a patient based environment
• Teamworking and independent working
• All the skills and experience has allowed me to gain transferable skills
for future employment

Whilst studying at university I have worked part time in order to gain experience of working life throughout my studies
I have taken part in a variety of jobs across all departments and have been able to develop people skills through customer experience. This has allowed me to gain an insight into working with othe poeopel and helped to prepare for a paitent based environment if that’s what I go into.
I have also been able to gain employability skills that have enabled me to prepare for life working in science. Communication skils will be essential for any industry, aswell as team working. Working as part of a tem needs to work well in order to get a task done. Problem solving being important when needing to think on my feet and in situations under pressure.
