 Quinta will discuss how her social media
activity was the key launchpad for her career,
which is expanding into film through Buzzfeed
Motion Pictures.
 Quinta is one of the leading creators emerging
from digital native platforms, responsible for
videos and shows garnering tens of millions of
views.
 Quinta’s first series, “Broke,” a show she
wrote and starred, debuted on YouTube Red.
 Quinta released one of the first “viral projects”
in 2014 with “The Girl Who’s Never Been on
a Nice Date.” This series gained a huge, viral
fan base on Youtube and Instagram.
 Currently, Quinta is the first BuzzFeed Motion
Pictures producer to be signed under contract
to write, direct, star and produce her own
projects within the media company’s studio
division.

 Hieu will discuss how BuzzFeed and other
digital platforms are challenging the prevailing
paradigms of development and production
through film, television, and digital media.
 BuzzFeed’s innovation-obsessed culture helps
foster a deeply-connected and highly-engaged
audience. This provides data, clarity, and
insight which Hieu leverages to uniquely
influence the evolution of storytelling and
shareable creative content.
 Hieu’s knowledge stems from 15 years of film,
television, and digital media development and
production having worked with Paramount,
Lionsgate, Amazon, and Fox. Hieu served as
President of Chu Studios, and he was also the
Executive Producer of “The LXD” - one of the
first Hulu originals.
