FIONA BARRATT-CAMPBELL
Award winning designer and entrepreneur, Fiona Barratt-
Campbell is recognised as one of Britain’s leading figures
in the international world of interior design.
-
Born and raised in Northumberland, England, Fiona draws
on the history of the rugged landscape from which she
was immersed growing up; shaped and influenced by its
underlying geology laid down some 400 million years ago.
Roman influence is a further stimulus, including Hadrian’s
Wall and its archaeology; the most heavily fortified frontier
in the Roman Empire.
-
Design is embedded in Fiona’s DNA. Her chief mentor and
greatest inspiration was her grandfather, property developer
Sir Lawrie Barratt. Sir Barratt founded one of the largest
residential property development companies in the UK in
1958, Barratt Homes, which has since inspired her to
establish four very successful businesses.
-
Fiona, now with 17 years’ experience in the industry, trained
at London’s Chelsea College of Art followed by Parsons School
of Design in New York. She went on to secure a position at a
highly regarded interior design firm before launching her own
successful interior design studio Fiona Barratt Interiors in
2006.

Fiona Barratt Interiors are leading luxury interior designers
and architects.
A multi-disciplinary design studio born from pure dediction
and capability of a talented team who work closely with
clients, Fiona Barratt Interiors provides a complete ‘interior
design experience.’
-
A true understanding of the definitive balance between
timeless luxury and intelligent, space conscious, design
infused with a creative excellence to enrich an interior.
Established in 2006, Fiona Barratt Interiors works with the
international elite offering the ultimate service.
-
The Studio’s expertise is applied to a range of services,
from residential to commercial and hospitality projects. In
every project, beautiful and functional solutions emerge
from an artistic concept that is balanced by an unfailing
sensitivity to the client’s needs and tastes. This has
garnered us not only the praise of clients, but also
commendation and awards from many prestigious
international design and architectural organisations.
FIONA BARRATT INTERIORS
The finest materials, beautifully balanced design and
cutting-edge creativity and innovation are the building blocks
of any project, but the real art lies in blending each with
fastidious skill and a unique passion. Our highly skilled team share
an unswerving dedication to creating the world’s most beautiful
interiors and our clients benefit from their obsession to strive for
perfection.
Fiona’s silhouettes are bold and geometric and
her finishes are intricate, with materials rang-
ing from solid cast bronze and sandblasted wood
to Brazilian fish skin. Her signature style blends
sophisticated neutrals interlaced with bursts of
accent colour, and although this more modern
theme remains core to her interiors, she has been
experimenting with antiques, particularly 20th
century pieces.
-
Her philosophy behind creating fluid and elegant
spaces is born of an understanding of the aspira-
tions of the client, the relevance of the location
and maximization of the potential of the existing
elements of the space. She develops these with
imagination and vision. The result of this atten-
tion to detail is an interior that tells a story and
most importantly an interior that reflects the
client’s individuality,
...to enhance, not dictate, the way they live.

FBC LONDON
Exploring the intimacy of the design process
and craft drives the influence and narrative
FBC London has on contemporary design.
In 2013 Fiona Barratt-Campbell launched the
eponymous FBC London with ‘The Showroom’ on the
prestigious Pimlico Road to create and sell luxury
handcrafted furniture, bespoke kitchens,
curated accessories, feature lighting and creative
wall-panelling.
-
The designs are born of a passion to create pieces
inspired by history and the natural world.
-
They are timeless in their simplistic elegance, luxurious
in their diverse materiality, quality of finishing and
attention to detail.

fusion of creatives, cultivated by
the strong identity of the company. Bringing
together the best designers and artists under
one umbrella. Collaboratively delivering the
most exclusive products, exemplary service
and timeless elegance.
A
FINISHES
Inspired by the legacy of history and the infinity
of the natural world, the contrast between
heavy and traditional, such as marble and
bronze, and lighter materials, for example, glass,
ensures pioneering, yet consistently timeless
creations. Surfaces of antiques brass and
chipped oak are made to reveal the basic nature
of construction, revealing the texture of the cast
bronze structures.
-
Defined details, forcing the brave mix of finishes
and texture, the experimentation of materials
and textures run throughout each element of
FBC London’s philosophy with a strong use of
traditionally cast metals.

PRODUCTION
Although Roman furniture designs
were complex, they employed the basic
vocabulary of ornament. In a similar
fashion, Fiona employs a myriad of textures
and technologies but embellishes these
intricate designs with the natural wilds of
Northumberland.

True to FBC London’s creative process,
the combination of these traditional and
modern techniques, the manufacturing of
the furniture is developed working with
variety of selected artisans and craftsmen
based, mainly, in the Northeast of the UK.

The Novus range features specialist finished fronts
crafted with an integrated finger rail for ease of
opening to maintain sleek, uninterrupted lines. The
eponymous collection features timber cabinetry with
statement marble worktops, bespoke textured handles
and brass detailing.
-
Embracing traditional craftsmanship combined with
cutting-edge design, the characteristics of the Novus

style kitchen celebrating both the functionality of a
working kitchen and informal character of the design.

the Metallum range is characterised by its prominent
grain detailing, large scale metal hardware and strong
textures.
-
Every detail, from handles to hinges, carefully
considered with industrial-luxe provenance. Sleek,
slick edges, lustrous elements based on urban
locality, such as nickel and brushed stainless steel,
are juxtaposed with natural, exposed timbers to
create a modern and collaborative space.

Harmony, symmetry, airiness, space and light are
proud combinations for the Terra kitchen with
influences from European architects drawing
inspiration from the classical British style. The kitchen
radiates around the central island and imposes every
dimension of itself. Cooking is demonstrated as a
creative act, an act of conveyance and sharing.
-
Echoing a relaxed environment with an earthy mate-
riality at its core, the Terra concept combines paired
back design elements with open storage and glass
cabinetry inset with natural linen.

Cooking appliances have a more traditional feel in
the use of large industrial style and multifunctional

our designers, see the furniture ranges up close and experience working displays to give the client an insight into the design

THE STUDIO VICTO- RIA| Located in the core of London Victoria’s cultural district, the studio offers over 6,500 square feet of space in a unique London setting, creating a luxury lifestyle destination under one umbrella. - The Studio’s ambience is one where industrial meets elegant luxury. An eclectic mixture of luxurious materials, tactile finishes and feature lighting contrasts the urbanised exposed brick, steel beams and polished concrete floor. The space incorporates an open plan design studio, luxury offices on a mezzanine level, a furniture showroom by FBC London, open to the public 5 days a week, and an extensive design library. A 9-meter long entertainment space complete with an FBC Kitchens’ fully functional bespoke kitchen, used to host a number of events throughout the year; design seminars, guest hosted talks, product launches, networking events and private dining. The concept behind The Studio is to offer a complete ‘lifestyle experience’. It provides a unique opportunity to meet with our designers, see the furniture ranges up close and experience working displays to give the client an insight into the design process in a unique, relaxed and informal way.
