As an expert in the design and UX field, Sonya finds many UX exercises to be very helpful and applicable for brainstorming, storytelling and mapping out future visions before committing to anything concrete. When companies are designing products, websites, applications, they too use some of these processes to best determine how to reduce risk and maximize potential outcomes. Designing an object, product, website or application must include thoughtful decisions that encompass all aspects of the users perception, needs, behaviors, attitudes and emotions that will ultimately lead to a desired outcome and result. The intentional design of one's overall life's experience is rather similar to that of a business product.

15. A bit about me…
• Lived without my parents since I was 13
• I co-founded a 501c3 animal rescue group in 2003
• I launched Mowie Media in 2006.
• Organizer with Innovate Pasadena & Steering
Committee with Techsparks for entrepreneurs
• Currently writing a book titled “UX Your Life”
16. Not to brag, but I worked remotely in
St Maarten, Toronto, Montreal, Bali, Hong Kong,
San Diego and here, Los Angeles in 2015 alone. I
designed my life to be this way.
But… I was diagnosed with Complex-PTSD in
July 2015. Life has not been easy.
If I can UX my life and be successful, so can you!
