One of the great advantages to using GraphXR with Neo4j is full text search. Why type a query when a keyword will suffice?
Setup for keyword search is simple. Here’s how it’s done.

2. In order to use keyword search in GraphXR with a Neo4j database* you need to define which labels and
properties will be available for search.

3. Click “Config Search Index” to begin. (To recreate the database I use in this example, visit
https://www.slideshare.net/SonyGreen1/data-injection-to-neo4j-with-graphxr-quick-easy-and-codefree.)
4. If you’re familiar with Neo4j, you can configure search availability via the Cypher code window. Visit
https://neo4j.com/docs/operations-manual/current/performance/index-configuration/fulltext-search/ to learn more.
5. Alternatively, you can simply check the box next to any property you’d like to make searchable.
6. Avoid selecting more properties than you need. The more searchable properties, the longer search takes.
8. Indexing can take a few seconds or several minutes depending on the amount of data and the number of
properties designated as searchable. Once your Index is complete, click “Save”...
