I. Motivation
- from the given picture of an example of
cause of the problem/event, students must identify
the pictures that are possible effect’s.
5. II. Presentation
Cause – is defined as the reason, motive,
purpose or justification for an event or a
situation.
ex. The cause of success may be hard work,
perseverance, careful planning, correct
decision-making, and such other factors.
Effect – is the consequence of something,
action, or event.
ex. The effect of being thrifty is having some
savings.
6. III. Application
Group activity
- the class will divided into two. Base in
the given phenomena, they have to write in the
board the causes and effects in 3 minutes. the
more answers/ideas the more points they get.
Sharing
- each of them must share 1 experienced
in their life wither it’s bad/good and how they
handled those situation.
7. IV. Generalization
1. Recognizing cause and effect is an
important reading skill. Why is this so?
