• Salesforce is a cloud base technology. It is a cloud base no.1 CRM
• Salesforce is your customer success platform, designed to help you sell,
service, market, analyze, and connect with your customers.
• IT WAS FOUNDED IN 1999 BY MARC BENIOFF
Multi-tenant architecture
multiple salesforce users store their data on the same cloud but
in their own space.
Governor limit
• Salesforce.com has created the set of limits which
governs and limits the code execution so that no one
monopolize the resource.
• Whenever any of the governor limits are crossed, it will
throw error and will halt the execution of program.
Magic of metadata
• metadata is data about data
• IT allows each customer to customize their own
instance of Salesforce
• All THE standard and custom configurations,
functionality, and code in your org are metadata

• It is protocol through which one application communicate with
other. Salesforce can integrate with third party application and
communicate data with API

extend, integrate and develop on Force.com without affecting your
production environments

deploying to production or releasing to customers

• Development- is a programming part in salesforce. We have
created extra functionality which is not given by salesforce.
