Launching of Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign
“Early Detection is the Best Protection ”
Amina Hospital came up with 3 month long Breast Cancer Awareness Programme in
association with Ajman Muncipality, which started from 1st of October 2016.
The inauguration stands out by the release of hundreds of pink balloons by Hospital
authorities along with ‘sign and support the cause campaign. And announced to
support breast cancer awareness “Walkathon” which is happening on 10th of October
2016 , from Al Rashidiya Park to the Um Al Moumineen Women Association
The ‘Early Detection is the Best Protection’ campaign was officially launched with the
release of hundreds of pink balloons together with a ‘Sign and Support initiative’ at
Amina Hospital.

In order to raise as much awareness as possible the Early Detection is the Best Protection
campaign is kindly supported by Ajman Municipality and the Um Al Moumineen
Women’s association.
Amina Hospital is initiating month long breast cancer awareness programme, Early
Detection is the Best Protection, starting from 1st October 2016.
Amina Hospital will be offering clinical breast examinations, Mammograms and a
specialist consultation for free of cost for those who register in October.
In addition to the special screening offer, in order to spread awareness, Amina Hospital with
Ajman Municipality are also initiating a month long campaign which will be known as the
“Feel the Bumps - Look for Lumps’ campaign. As a symbolic representation of the campaign,
all road humps and pedestrian crossings will be painted pink in the Corniche Road, Ajman
raising awareness for the early detection of breast cancer. He added.
Also, a walkathon is being planned on 10th October in association with Um Al
Mouminnen Womens association in Ajman.

“Walk for a Cause”
Further to the lunch of the ‘Early Detection is the Best Protection’
campaign by Amina Hospital, Ajman, in order to raise awareness a
walkathon was conducted on 10th October 2016 by Amina Hospital
in association with Um Al Moumineen Association in Ajman.
The Walkathon was at Al Safia Park in Ajman which was also
supported by Ajman Police and Ajman horse club. There were 100s
of people joined for the walkathon to support the “Walk for a
Cause”, breast cancer awareness walkathon. Followed by the
walkathon there was breast cancer awareness talk at Um Al
Moumineen Association by Dr. Dawlat Hussien, Consultant Internal
Medicine, Amina Hospital.
