is noted for her personal essays that’s being published

appeared in The Missouri Review. Though, she is
mostly famous for her second book Y which has been
translated into more than thirty languages. From July
15, 2012, for seven consecutive weeks, it was No. 1 on
the "New York Times Best Seller list" in hardcover non-
fiction. In June 2012, Oprah Winfrey announced that Y
was her first selection for her new Oprah's Book Club
2.0. The book Y is a first-person memoir of her 1,100-
mile (1,800 km) hike along the Pacific Crest Trail. Give

X is an animal which has turned out to be the worst foe of the farmers in Punjab,
Madhya Pradesh & UP in recent times. As the natural habitat of the X whittles
down, raiding herds of this animal regularly invade agriculture fields and feed off
the crops in these regions. The flooding of rivers during monsoons is an another
cause due to which this animal lives close to farms and perform devastations. This
animal usually attack at night, leaving farmers little time to react. In some pockets,
farmers have completely given up farming pulses due to heavy losses and shifted
to other crops. As a result, there are official orders to shoot the animal, despite
criticism from wildlife conservationists. But the farmers are reluctant to kill this
animal because its name suggests something that is ‘holy in Hinduism’. Since
people in Rajasthan, Gujarat and Haryana call this animal, ‘Rojh’, officials hope
that by changing its name to ‘Vanroz’, the religious hullabaloo surrounding it will be

Limited (GRSE) is one of India's leading shipyards, located

it was renamed as Garden Reach Workshop in 1916. The
company was nationalised by the Government of India in

The Chernobyl disaster which occurred on 26 April 1986 at
the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in Ukraine (then officially
the Ukrainian SSR) was the worst nuclear power plant accident in history
in terms of cost and casualties. An explosion and fire released large
quantities of radioactive particles into the atmosphere, which spread over
much of the western USSR and Europe. There are still prevailing
diseases and other drawbacks due to this havoc. So, scientists and
officials came up with an idea of planting a certain flower in this region,
which, scientists believe, can absorb large quantities of radioactive
caesium at their full height. As a result, there are thousands of this

began dancing and acting in Vaudeville and musical

inspired by a cigarette poster featuring an Egyptian scene of
