1. Planning for Objectives
Goal: Create an interactive following that promotes awareness about our efforts
i. How: Using social media (Snap Chat, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and IG) and
Blogs
a. Reach out to current networks to gain support
i. Sharing our handles to others
ii. Inviting others to like and/or follow our handles
b. One blog or two (if it can be maintained) weekly
c. Can use all Social Medias, but some may be more maintained than others
based on following stats.
i. Examples
1. YouTube may have less updates or shared ones.
2. Sharing updates can be done amongst all social medias or
limited ones based on the type of content
3. We won’t be posting photos on YouTube unless its collective
d. Create a quota to maintain posts
i. For example: 2 blogs a week, 2 YouTube uploads a week, Snap Chat,
Twitter, Facebook, try tomaintain at least 2-3 posts daily, even if
it’s the same content
ii. If we use all the above social media outlets, are they past ones being
maintained or new ones encompassing solely Margins.
e. We can also create flyers that share information about us and what we do
but also include a call-to-action
i. Either a call to action for both volunteers and to those in need or
two separate; one focusing on another.

i. If digital provide a link if email is being used
f. Ways to be interactive on social media
i. Replying to comments and messages
2. ii. Interact with our partners and other progressive community
organizations on social media

4. Tweet about the daily projects we do and big projects and the
process and progress of them

1. Post pictures of efforts in action
a. Kids and Mentors
b. Volunteers gardening
c. Consistent visiting volunteers or participants

ii. Others using the community garden

they’re participating in

1. Post a weekly or biweekly video
a. Content can be based on
i. DIY’s and gardening information (even if its
shared content for or from blogs)

processes and progress of projects

2. Pictures similar to what’s being shared on IG
3. Have variety
a. Videos and pics showing the daily progress and

1. Everything aside from general Tweets from all the other
avenues can be shared to Facebook
