CONTENTS
3. • Today's conventional modes of transportation of people
consists of four unique types: rail, road, water, and air.
• These modes of transport tend to be either relatively slow
(e.g., road and water), expensive (e.g., air), or a combination
of relatively slow and expensive (i.e., rail).
• Hyperloop is a new mode of transport that seeks to change
this pattern by being both fast and inexpensive for people
and goods.
INTRODUCTION
4. • Hyperloop consists of a low pressure
tube with capsules that are transported
at both low and high speeds throughout
the length of the tube.
CONCEPT
• Hyperloop is firstly proposed by Elon musk
and a team of engineer from Tesla Motors
in August 2013.
• This system can achieve an average speed
of 598 mph (962 km/h), and a top speed of
760 mph (1,220 km/h).
5. • Capsule
• Low Pressure Tube
• Propulsion
• Suspension
MAIN PARTS OF HYPERLOOP
6. • The capsule can carry 28 passengers at a time and it send
at a very high speed and it is levitated by a high pressure
air cushion.

Hyperloop passenger capsule subsystem
CAPSULE
• The capsules are separated within the tube by
approximately 23 miles (37 km) on average during
operation.
7. • The tube is made of steel. Two tubes will be welded
together in a side by side configuration to allow the
capsules to travel both directions.
• Solar arrays will cover the top of the tubes in order to
provide power to the system.
7
LOW PRESSURE TUBE
8. • Linear accelerators are constructed along the length of the
tube at various locations to accelerate the capsules.
8
• Stators are located on the capsules to transfer momentum to
the capsules via the linear accelerators.

PROPULSION
9. • Air bearing suspension offers stability and extremely low
cost. A stiff air bearing suspension is superb for reliability
and safety.
• When there is a gap between capsule and tube walls is high
then it shows the nonlinear reaction and which results in
large restoring pressure
SUSPENSION
10. BASIC PRINCIPLE OF HYPERLOOP
• Hyper loop is based on a principle of magnetic levitation.
The principle is that a vehicle can be suspended and propelled
on a guidance track made with magnets.
• The vehicle on top of the track may be propelled with the help
of a linear induction motor.
11. WORKING OF HYPERLOOP SYSTEM
• The air compressor fan is fitted on front side of capsule which
sucks the air. It transfer high pressure air front side to the rear
side of capsule .
• The capsule will be propelled by the linear induction motor,
By the linear induction motor the capsule send from one place
to another place.
• There is solar panel fitted on top of the tube, The energy is
also is stored in the form of compressed air.
12. • Faster
• Pollution free.
• Immune to weather.
• Safer
• Resistant to Earthquakes.
ADVANTAGES
13. FUTURE SCOPE
• Improve the passenger capacity.
• Detailed station designs with loading and unloading of
passenger
• Safety features improvement.
14. CONCLUSION
• Hyper loop transportation system can be used over the
conventional modes of transportation that are rail, road,
water and air.
• At very high speed it provides better comfort and cost is
also low.
• By reducing the pressure of the air in the tube which
reduces simple air drag and enables the capsule to move
faster than through a tube at atmospheric pressure.
