CHAPTER-1
INTRODUCTION
The development of this new system contains the following activities, which try
to develop on-line application by keeping the entire process in the view of
database integration approach.
1.1 OVERVIEW AND LITERATURE SURVEY
This is use for animation, video, music and other multimedia effects to
capture customers attention. Thus, the design of a commercial website plays
an important role in attracting, sustaining and retaining the interest of a
customer at website. As we know, successful web design gives with web
browsers. With an increased percentage of the population using the internet,
web surveys are particularly effective and useful to collect data for e-
commerce. Whenever web surveys are present and available, a potential
threat to research exists due to the lack of sampling control. However, the
use of access control might arouse potential suspicions about anonymity and
confidentiality for respondents. To ensure validity and reliability, there is a
need to view this dilemma along with its two accompanying issues: (1)
sampling control, and (2) anonymous responses.
 Secure registration and profile management facilities for Customers.
 Browsing through the e-Mall to see the items that are there in each category
of products like Apparel, Kitchen accessories, Bath accessories, Food items
etc.
 Creating a Shopping cart so that customer can Shoppe „n‟ no. of items and
checkout finally with the entire shopping cart
 Customers should be able to mail the Shop about the items they would like
to see in the Shop
 Secured mechanism for checking out from the Shop (Credit card
verification mechanism )
 Updates to customers about the Recent Items in the Shop.
2
 Uploading „Most Purchased‟ Items in each category of products in the Shop
like Apparel, Kitchen accessories, Bath accessories, Food items etc.
3
1.2 GAP IN LITERATURE
My project Online Shopping Application is an E-commerce is a transaction of
buying or selling online. Electronic commerce draws on technologies such as
mobile commerce, electronic funds transfer, supply chain management, Internet
marketing, online transaction processing, electronic data interchange (EDI),
inventory management systems, and automated data collection systems. Modern
electronic commerce typically uses the World Wide Web for at least one part of the
transaction's life cycle although it may also use other technologies such as e-mail.
How my project makes it different from others. Here are some features:
 Online shopping Application web sites for retail sales direct to
consumers
 Providing or participating in online marketplaces, which process third- party
business-to-consumer or consumer-to-consumer sales
 Business-to-business buying and selling
 Gathering and using demographic data through web contacts and social
media
 Business-to-business (B2B) electronic data interchange
 Marketing to prospective and established customers by e-mail or fax
 Online financial exchanges for currency exchanges or trading purposes
1.3 Motivation
The prime reason behind establishing e-commerce website should be adding comfort to
your buyers’ life by making it little easier for them to learn more about your service and
how they can reach out to you with least effort or hassle. A custom designed website will
have the specific features and functionalities that will not just help the site to stand out
but also add great user experience and that factor is essential for improving sale boost.
Your online store is available 24*7 and that gives your buyer the freedom to visit and
purchase services whenever they feel like.
4
1.4 Problem Formulation
While developing a E-commerce websites there are major challenges that are needed to be
taken care of at a primary stage,
 Cyber Data & Security
 Converting Shoppers into Paying Customers
 Attracting the Perfect Customer
 Customer Loyalty
 Data Privacy
Keeping all this in mind a circuit is to be built in order to meet our primary objective stated
in the Objective
1.5 OBJECTIVE
The Internet has become an essential part of our daily life, and companies realize that the
Internet can be a shopping channel to reach existing and potential consumers. With this
consensus Online shopping Application as a whole has rapidly grown. The biggest
surprise is that clothing is one of the top categories purchased online.
Although online apparel shopping continues to grow, there are problems why consumers
hesitate to shop for clothing online. The primary aim of this project is to demonstrate that
with better interactive features in clothing web sites could improve sales for online
retailers. The objectives of the project are as follows:
 Save time by not going to store
 Can shop when stores are closed
 Avoid the holiday crowds
 Might be able to find better prices
 Can find products online more easily
 Find products not available in stores
 Easier to compare prices

DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION
Planning on essential features – The mapping of essential features for ecommerce apps is the
next thing on the ecommerce app development process
2.1 INTRODUCTION
The spiral model is a software development process combining elements of both design and
prototyping-in-stages, in an effort to combine advantages of top-down and bottom-up
concepts. Also known as the spiral lifecycle model (or spiral development), it is a systems
development method (SDM) used in information technology (IT). This model of development
combines the features of the prototyping and the waterfall model. The spiral model is intended
for large, expensive and complicated projects.
The spiral model combines the idea of iterative development (prototyping) with the systematic,
controlled aspects of the waterfall model. It allows for incremental releases of the product, or
incremental refinement through each time around the spiral. The spiral model also explicitly
includes risk management within software development. Identifying major risks, both
technical and managerial, and determining how to lessen the risk helps keep the software
development process under control.

8
2.2 DIFFERENT DESIGN OPTION
Software design is the process of envisioning and defining software solutions
to one or more sets of problems.
 Frontend Development
 Backend Development
 Desktop Development
 Web Development
 Database Development
 Mobile Development
 Cloud Development
 DevOps Engineering
 Security Engineering
Frontend Development
Front-end development focuses on the user-facing side of a website. Front-end
developers ensure that visitors can easily interact with and navigate sites by
using programming languages, design skills, and other tools. They produce the
drop-down menus, layouts, and design for websites.
Backend Development
Back-end developers focus on the server side of websites. They use technical
skills to perform the behind-the scenes work that creates a website’s structure
and overall functionality, allowing a site’s front end to exist. These
professionals create a site’s operations, databases, and application programming
interface (API).
Desktop Development
Desktop development implies the creation of software applications that perform
on computers. Windows, Linux, and macOS are the three most popular
operating systems which desktop software is created for. This type of
development is native in most cases as app function only on a particular type of
operating system.
Web Development
Web development refers to the creating, building, and maintain of websites. It
includes aspects such as web design, web publishing, web programming, and
database management. It is the creation of an application that works over the
internet, example-website.
9
Database Development
Database development is designing, creating a database or data model, and
analyzing requirements and their intents as raw data. Database development
aims to create a structure that will allow for the efficient storage and retrieval
of data. Being a blueprint for the database, it should meet the needs of business.
Mobile Development
Mobile development is the process of creating software applications that run on
a mobile device, and typical mobile application utilizes a network connection
to work with remote computing resources. Hence, the mobile development
process involves creating installable software bundles, implementing backend
services such as data access with an API, and testing the application on target
devices.
Cloud Development
Cloud development refers to building, testing, deploying, and running software
services in the cloud. These applications built in a cloud environment are called
cloud software. Cloud development is also known as cloud-based development
or in-cloud development.
DevOps Engineering
DevOps is a set of practices that combines software development and IT
operations. It aims to shorten the system development life cycle and provides
continuous delivery with high software quality. DevOps is complementary to
agile software development; several DevOps aspects came from the agile way
of working.
Security Engineering
Security engineering is the process of incorporating security controls into an
information system so that the controls become an integral part of the system’s
operational capabilities. It is similar to other system engineering activities in
that primary motivation is to support the delivery of engineering solutions that
satisfy predefined functional and user requirements, but it has the added
dimension of preventing misuse and malicious behavior. Those constraints and
restriction are often asserted as a security policy.
10
2.3 Block Diagram
As we know that the system development starts with System Analysis known that “A System
is a collection of interrelated components that work together to achieve common objective and
system analysis is the specification of what the system, I required to do” it is conducted with
the following objective in mind: Identification and analysis of customer needs. System
evaluation for:
 Identification of requirements and Performing economic & technical analysis
 Allocating functions to manpower and Establishing cost & schedule constraints
Data model is a tool that provides the ability to represent the data objects, their characteristics
and their relationships to the software developer.
DATA FLOW DIAGRAM (DFD):
The data flow diagram (DFD) is a pictorial representation of data which is divided into many
parts like 0 level, 1st level, 2nd level, 3rd level etc. A standard DFD is divided into at least three
levels.
ENTITY RELATIONSHIP DIAGRAM:
Entity Relationship Diagram is a pictorial representation in which the all attributes of an
organization and their data fields are connected. There is a relation between two attributes; the
relation is either one to many, many to one or many to many. There is also some special type
of relations like generalization, specialization, A Kind Of (AKO) etc.
DATA OBJECT DICTIONARY:
The Data Object Dictionary is a tabular representation of a database which is used in project.
In this format the all data field of a data table described with primary key, data type, constraints,
data size, null or not null etc.
11
DATA FLOW DIAGRAM
A data flow diagram (DFD) is a graphical tool used to describe and analyze the movement of
data through a system by depicting the flow of data, storage of data, source or destination of
data and the processes that respond to change in data. The DFD is one of the most important
tools used by the system analysts to model system components, namely
- System Process
- Data Store
- The information flows in the system
- Any external entities that interact with the system
2.4 SIMULATION PLATFORM
The Visual studio is preferred as it is friendly with majority of the scripting languages available in
the internet and its major advantages of being able to provide live adaptation result on the chrome
makes it more reliable other than major IDE’s.
Front End
ASP.NET, also known as ASP+, is an enhanced version of ASP for the form. It supports
executable programs compiled from Visual Basic, C#, C++ and other languages and is not
backward compatible with regular ASP code. Visual C# is the fastest and easiest way to
create applications for Microsoft Windows. The Visual C# provides us a complete set of tools
to simply rapid application development.
Back End
SQL Server 2008 is a relational database system that is saleable from small departmental
networks to enterprise-wide networks. It maintains the core database files for use by custom
database application using development language.
Operating System
With Windows 10 Service Pack 2 (SP2), Microsoft is introducing a set of security technologies
12
that will help improve Windows computers' ability to withstand malicious attacks from viruses
and worms.
Computer Hardware Components:
According to available Hardware Components in the market following are at least
requirements to execute proposed web development, which are as follows: -
 Microprocessor: Intel Pentium IV or above
 Hard-Disk: 500 GB
 Monitor: Color
 Primary Memory (RAM): 4 GB upgradable

The Homepage can include promotions, branded lifestyle imaginary, and featured products or
categories. Value propositions should be clear, like what makes the brand or products unique, and
any brand guarantees such as free shipping should be highlighted.

How to set up a user a signup page
1. Go to the Menu icon> Global Settings > Users tab> Signup Pages links.
2. Click the New Signup Page button in the action bar. It looks like a plus sign.
3. Choose an Associated Organization via the look up. New user will be created under the
associated organization. Generally, you want to select an external organization.
4. Enter a Description. This is not seen by your applicants but it is important as it is the only
way you can tell user signup pages from the organization signup configuration page.
5. Enable CAPTCHA VALIDATION, as well as Duplicate Check conditions based on the
security needs of your organization.
6. If you want the user to be able to login change the Access Type to User Access.
7. Add desired roles to be assigned in Roles to Add.
35
8. Modify the Signup Page Content and Conformation Page Content as desired. In the
instructions you might want to add a phone number or email of who to contact if the user is
having trouble registering. On the conformation page content you might want to add
something like “check your email and spam folder in your email for instructions on how to
gain access to the system.”
9. Drag and drop the fields from the Available Fields list into the Selected Fields list. These
are the fields that will appear on the signup pages. Once fields are in the Selected Fields list
in you drag and drop fields to reorder them or hover over a field and click the blue button to
remove the field from the list.
10. Click Save.

Buyer Cart Page
The most obvious and necessary part of the checkout page is letting your users check exactly what
that are going to order.
Offering complete transparency helps build trust. When customers unpack their shipped parcel, they
don’t want any surprises that could have been avoided.
Give them an order review summary just before completing checkout, showing:
 The name of each item and an image/photo of them
 The attributes of that product, such as size, color, and price
 Cost-related factors, like shipping fees, discount, coupons, gift card, taxes
 The total amount payable

Buyer Payment Page
Your cart checkout page represents the final stop for customers on your website. And it’s an important
one. People are protective of their money and they want to be sure everything will be easy and secure.
So, creating a simple user-friendly payment process will help customers trust you and more.
There are certain factors to keep in mind when designing payment pages.
First, allow customers to pay using a number of different payment methods, including their digital
wallets. Some websites still offer only one mode of payment, leading to inevitable cart abandonment.
Figure 2.14 Buyer Payment Page
Also, many websites ask customers to sign up before completing a purchase. This puts up an
unnecessary barrier to purchasing and causes customers to leave. A guest login is an important
addition to your cart checkout process.

Forget Password Page
You can reset your login password if you forget it, or if you want to keep your account more secure. If
you’re the store owner, then you can reset your own password and initiate your staff’s

TESTING PROCESS
Once source code has been generated, software must be tested to uncover as many errors as
possible before utilization of software or deliver on anyone. Our goal is to design a series of
text cases that have a high likelihood of finding errors.
Software is tested from two different perspectives are:
 Internal program logic is exercised using “White box” test case.
 Software requirements are exercised using “Black box” test case.
In both cases, the intent is to find the maximum number of errors, with the minimum amount of
effort and time.
Using white-box testing methods, we derive test cases that:
 Guarantee that all independent paths within a module have been exercised at least
once.
 Exercise all logical decisions on their true and false sides.
 Execute all loops at their boundaries and within their operations.
 Exercise internal data structure to ensure their validity.
Black-box tests are designed to validate functional requirements without regard to the internal
working of a program. Black-box testing is not an alternative to White-box techniques.
Rather, it is a complementary approach that is likely to uncover a different class of errors than
White-box methods.

SOFTWARE SECURITY
System security refers to various validations on data in form of checks and controls to avoid
the system from failing. It is always important to ensure that only valid data is entered and
only valid operations are performed on the system. The system employees two types of checks
and controls:
CLIENT-SIDE VALIDATION
Various client-side validations are used to ensure on the client side that only valid data is
entered. Client-side validation saves server time and load to handle invalid data. Some checks
imposed are:
JavaScript in used to ensure those required fields are filled with suitable data only.
Maximum lengths of the fields of the forms are appropriately defined.
45
SERVER-SIDE VALIDATION
Some checks cannot be applied at client side. Server-side checks are necessary to save the
system from failing and intimating the user that some invalid operation has been performed
or the performed operation is restricted. Some of the server-side checks imposed is:
 Server-side constraint has been imposed to check for the validity of primary key and
foreign key. A primary key value cannot be duplicated. Any attempt to duplicate the
primary value results into a message intimating the user about those values through the
forms using foreign key can be updated only of the existing foreign key values.
 User is intimating through appropriate messages about the successful operations or
exceptions occurring at server side.
 Various Access Control Mechanisms have been built so that one user may not agitate
upon another. Only permitted users can log on to the system and can have access
according to their category. User- name, passwords and permissions are controlled o the
server side.
 Using server-side validation, constraints on several restricted operations are imposed.

CHAPTER-3
CONCLUSION AND FUTURE ENHANCEMENT
After many hours of work and effort, the project was successfully completed. The
Mumma’s Bunny went through a number of compilations, debugging, error removal,
bug removal, adding more features to the E-commerce website, and interactivity to
make it more reliable and useful.
3.1 CONCLUSION
This will assist you in recognizing and shopping appropriate E-commerce choices, as well as in in
putting into action expected trends before they become widely adopted. The future scope of a
software is completely dependent on the fulfillment of requirements and management of database in
sense of not only storing & accessing but also searching, sorting and updating the database. I will
develop my software using front end .Net - 2012 (Framework 4.5) and Database Microsoft SQL
Server - 2012, which is best for a medium level Organization. Same vendor Microsoft develops
both tools front-end and back-end, so there is no confliction between database connectivity. So, the
database is properly managed & maintained.
3.2 APPLICATIONS
Website can be used for shopping purposes such as the:
 Shopping malls
 Street carts
 Small Shops
 Wholesale centers
 Hotels
 Shopping websites
3.3 SCOPE OF FUTURE ENHANCEMENT
 Global retail of E-commerce sales will increase in whole over the world.
 Ruler areas can be developed through E-commerce.
 Mobile shopping will be rise through E-commerce.
 AI will be use more and more in E-commerce.
 B2B E-commerce will continue to out perform B2C E-commerce.

  • 8. 1 CHAPTER-1 INTRODUCTION The development of this new system contains the following activities, which try to develop on-line application by keeping the entire process in the view of database integration approach. 1.1 OVERVIEW AND LITERATURE SURVEY This is use for animation, video, music and other multimedia effects to capture customers attention. Thus, the design of a commercial website plays an important role in attracting, sustaining and retaining the interest of a customer at website. As we know, successful web design gives with web browsers. With an increased percentage of the population using the internet, web surveys are particularly effective and useful to collect data for e- commerce. Whenever web surveys are present and available, a potential threat to research exists due to the lack of sampling control. However, the use of access control might arouse potential suspicions about anonymity and confidentiality for respondents. To ensure validity and reliability, there is a need to view this dilemma along with its two accompanying issues: (1) sampling control, and (2) anonymous responses.  Secure registration and profile management facilities for Customers.  Browsing through the e-Mall to see the items that are there in each category of products like Apparel, Kitchen accessories, Bath accessories, Food items etc.  Creating a Shopping cart so that customer can Shoppe „n‟ no. of items and checkout finally with the entire shopping cart  Customers should be able to mail the Shop about the items they would like to see in the Shop  Secured mechanism for checking out from the Shop (Credit card verification mechanism )  Updates to customers about the Recent Items in the Shop.
  • 9. 2  Uploading „Most Purchased‟ Items in each category of products in the Shop like Apparel, Kitchen accessories, Bath accessories, Food items etc.
  • 10. 3 1.2 GAP IN LITERATURE My project Online Shopping Application is an E-commerce is a transaction of buying or selling online. Electronic commerce draws on technologies such as mobile commerce, electronic funds transfer, supply chain management, Internet marketing, online transaction processing, electronic data interchange (EDI), inventory management systems, and automated data collection systems. Modern electronic commerce typically uses the World Wide Web for at least one part of the transaction's life cycle although it may also use other technologies such as e-mail. How my project makes it different from others. Here are some features:  Online shopping Application web sites for retail sales direct to consumers  Providing or participating in online marketplaces, which process third- party business-to-consumer or consumer-to-consumer sales  Business-to-business buying and selling  Gathering and using demographic data through web contacts and social media  Business-to-business (B2B) electronic data interchange  Marketing to prospective and established customers by e-mail or fax  Online financial exchanges for currency exchanges or trading purposes 1.3 Motivation The prime reason behind establishing e-commerce website should be adding comfort to your buyers’ life by making it little easier for them to learn more about your service and how they can reach out to you with least effort or hassle. A custom designed website will have the specific features and functionalities that will not just help the site to stand out but also add great user experience and that factor is essential for improving sale boost. Your online store is available 24*7 and that gives your buyer the freedom to visit and purchase services whenever they feel like.
  • 11. 4 1.4 Problem Formulation While developing a E-commerce websites there are major challenges that are needed to be taken care of at a primary stage,  Cyber Data & Security  Converting Shoppers into Paying Customers  Attracting the Perfect Customer  Customer Loyalty  Data Privacy Keeping all this in mind a circuit is to be built in order to meet our primary objective stated in the Objective 1.5 OBJECTIVE The Internet has become an essential part of our daily life, and companies realize that the Internet can be a shopping channel to reach existing and potential consumers. With this consensus Online shopping Application as a whole has rapidly grown. The biggest surprise is that clothing is one of the top categories purchased online. Although online apparel shopping continues to grow, there are problems why consumers hesitate to shop for clothing online. The primary aim of this project is to demonstrate that with better interactive features in clothing web sites could improve sales for online retailers. The objectives of the project are as follows:  Save time by not going to store  Can shop when stores are closed  Avoid the holiday crowds  Might be able to find better prices  Can find products online more easily  Find products not available in stores  Easier to compare prices 1.6 Organization of Report

  • 13. 6 Chapter-2 DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION Planning on essential features – The mapping of essential features for ecommerce apps is the next thing on the ecommerce app development process 2.1 INTRODUCTION The spiral model is a software development process combining elements of both design and prototyping-in-stages, in an effort to combine advantages of top-down and bottom-up concepts. Also known as the spiral lifecycle model (or spiral development), it is a systems development method (SDM) used in information technology (IT). This model of development combines the features of the prototyping and the waterfall model. The spiral model is intended for large, expensive and complicated projects. The spiral model combines the idea of iterative development (prototyping) with the systematic, controlled aspects of the waterfall model. It allows for incremental releases of the product, or incremental refinement through each time around the spiral. The spiral model also explicitly includes risk management within software development. Identifying major risks, both technical and managerial, and determining how to lessen the risk helps keep the software development process under control.

  • 15. 8 2.2 DIFFERENT DESIGN OPTION Software design is the process of envisioning and defining software solutions to one or more sets of problems.  Frontend Development  Backend Development  Desktop Development  Web Development  Database Development  Mobile Development  Cloud Development  DevOps Engineering  Security Engineering Frontend Development Front-end development focuses on the user-facing side of a website. Front-end developers ensure that visitors can easily interact with and navigate sites by using programming languages, design skills, and other tools. They produce the drop-down menus, layouts, and design for websites. Backend Development Back-end developers focus on the server side of websites. They use technical skills to perform the behind-the scenes work that creates a website’s structure and overall functionality, allowing a site’s front end to exist. These professionals create a site’s operations, databases, and application programming interface (API). Desktop Development Desktop development implies the creation of software applications that perform on computers. Windows, Linux, and macOS are the three most popular operating systems which desktop software is created for. This type of development is native in most cases as app function only on a particular type of operating system. Web Development Web development refers to the creating, building, and maintain of websites. It includes aspects such as web design, web publishing, web programming, and database management. It is the creation of an application that works over the internet, example-website.
  • 16. 9 Database Development Database development is designing, creating a database or data model, and analyzing requirements and their intents as raw data. Database development aims to create a structure that will allow for the efficient storage and retrieval of data. Being a blueprint for the database, it should meet the needs of business. Mobile Development Mobile development is the process of creating software applications that run on a mobile device, and typical mobile application utilizes a network connection to work with remote computing resources. Hence, the mobile development process involves creating installable software bundles, implementing backend services such as data access with an API, and testing the application on target devices. Cloud Development Cloud development refers to building, testing, deploying, and running software services in the cloud. These applications built in a cloud environment are called cloud software. Cloud development is also known as cloud-based development or in-cloud development. DevOps Engineering DevOps is a set of practices that combines software development and IT operations. It aims to shorten the system development life cycle and provides continuous delivery with high software quality. DevOps is complementary to agile software development; several DevOps aspects came from the agile way of working. Security Engineering Security engineering is the process of incorporating security controls into an information system so that the controls become an integral part of the system’s operational capabilities. It is similar to other system engineering activities in that primary motivation is to support the delivery of engineering solutions that satisfy predefined functional and user requirements, but it has the added dimension of preventing misuse and malicious behavior. Those constraints and restriction are often asserted as a security policy.
  • 17. 10 2.3 Block Diagram As we know that the system development starts with System Analysis known that “A System is a collection of interrelated components that work together to achieve common objective and system analysis is the specification of what the system, I required to do” it is conducted with the following objective in mind: Identification and analysis of customer needs. System evaluation for:  Identification of requirements and Performing economic & technical analysis  Allocating functions to manpower and Establishing cost & schedule constraints Data model is a tool that provides the ability to represent the data objects, their characteristics and their relationships to the software developer. DATA FLOW DIAGRAM (DFD): The data flow diagram (DFD) is a pictorial representation of data which is divided into many parts like 0 level, 1st level, 2nd level, 3rd level etc. A standard DFD is divided into at least three levels. ENTITY RELATIONSHIP DIAGRAM: Entity Relationship Diagram is a pictorial representation in which the all attributes of an organization and their data fields are connected. There is a relation between two attributes; the relation is either one to many, many to one or many to many. There is also some special type of relations like generalization, specialization, A Kind Of (AKO) etc. DATA OBJECT DICTIONARY: The Data Object Dictionary is a tabular representation of a database which is used in project. In this format the all data field of a data table described with primary key, data type, constraints, data size, null or not null etc.
  • 18. 11 DATA FLOW DIAGRAM A data flow diagram (DFD) is a graphical tool used to describe and analyze the movement of data through a system by depicting the flow of data, storage of data, source or destination of data and the processes that respond to change in data. The DFD is one of the most important tools used by the system analysts to model system components, namely - System Process - Data Store - The information flows in the system - Any external entities that interact with the system 2.4 SIMULATION PLATFORM The Visual studio is preferred as it is friendly with majority of the scripting languages available in the internet and its major advantages of being able to provide live adaptation result on the chrome makes it more reliable other than major IDE’s. Front End ASP.NET, also known as ASP+, is an enhanced version of ASP for the form. It supports executable programs compiled from Visual Basic, C#, C++ and other languages and is not backward compatible with regular ASP code. Visual C# is the fastest and easiest way to create applications for Microsoft Windows. The Visual C# provides us a complete set of tools to simply rapid application development. Back End SQL Server 2008 is a relational database system that is saleable from small departmental networks to enterprise-wide networks. It maintains the core database files for use by custom database application using development language. Operating System With Windows 10 Service Pack 2 (SP2), Microsoft is introducing a set of security technologies

People are protective of their money and they want to be sure everything will be easy and secure. So, creating a simple user-friendly payment process will help customers trust you and more. There are certain factors to keep in mind when designing payment pages. First, allow customers to pay using a number of different payment methods, including their digital wallets. Some websites still offer only one mode of payment, leading to inevitable cart abandonment. Figure 2.14 Buyer Payment Page Also, many websites ask customers to sign up before completing a purchase. This puts up an unnecessary barrier to purchasing and causes customers to leave. A guest login is an important addition to your cart checkout process.

  • 52. 42 TESTING PROCESS Once source code has been generated, software must be tested to uncover as many errors as possible before utilization of software or deliver on anyone. Our goal is to design a series of text cases that have a high likelihood of finding errors. Software is tested from two different perspectives are:  Internal program logic is exercised using “White box” test case.  Software requirements are exercised using “Black box” test case. In both cases, the intent is to find the maximum number of errors, with the minimum amount of effort and time. Using white-box testing methods, we derive test cases that:  Guarantee that all independent paths within a module have been exercised at least once.  Exercise all logical decisions on their true and false sides.  Execute all loops at their boundaries and within their operations.  Exercise internal data structure to ensure their validity. Black-box tests are designed to validate functional requirements without regard to the internal working of a program. Black-box testing is not an alternative to White-box techniques. Rather, it is a complementary approach that is likely to uncover a different class of errors than White-box methods. TEST CASES
  • 53. 43 Figure 2.19 Test Cases: To control to validate property
  • 54. 44 Figure 2.20 Test Cases: Local Host SOFTWARE SECURITY System security refers to various validations on data in form of checks and controls to avoid the system from failing. It is always important to ensure that only valid data is entered and only valid operations are performed on the system. The system employees two types of checks and controls: CLIENT-SIDE VALIDATION Various client-side validations are used to ensure on the client side that only valid data is entered. Client-side validation saves server time and load to handle invalid data. Some checks imposed are: JavaScript in used to ensure those required fields are filled with suitable data only. Maximum lengths of the fields of the forms are appropriately defined.
  • 55. 45 SERVER-SIDE VALIDATION Some checks cannot be applied at client side. Server-side checks are necessary to save the system from failing and intimating the user that some invalid operation has been performed or the performed operation is restricted. Some of the server-side checks imposed is:  Server-side constraint has been imposed to check for the validity of primary key and foreign key. A primary key value cannot be duplicated. Any attempt to duplicate the primary value results into a message intimating the user about those values through the forms using foreign key can be updated only of the existing foreign key values.  User is intimating through appropriate messages about the successful operations or exceptions occurring at server side.  Various Access Control Mechanisms have been built so that one user may not agitate upon another. Only permitted users can log on to the system and can have access according to their category. User- name, passwords and permissions are controlled o the server side.  Using server-side validation, constraints on several restricted operations are imposed.
  • 56. 35 CHAPTER-3 CONCLUSION AND FUTURE ENHANCEMENT After many hours of work and effort, the project was successfully completed. The Mumma’s Bunny went through a number of compilations, debugging, error removal, bug removal, adding more features to the E-commerce website, and interactivity to make it more reliable and useful. 3.1 CONCLUSION This will assist you in recognizing and shopping appropriate E-commerce choices, as well as in in putting into action expected trends before they become widely adopted. The future scope of a software is completely dependent on the fulfillment of requirements and management of database in sense of not only storing & accessing but also searching, sorting and updating the database. I will develop my software using front end .Net - 2012 (Framework 4.5) and Database Microsoft SQL Server - 2012, which is best for a medium level Organization. Same vendor Microsoft develops both tools front-end and back-end, so there is no confliction between database connectivity. So, the database is properly managed & maintained. 3.2 APPLICATIONS Website can be used for shopping purposes such as the:  Shopping malls  Street carts  Small Shops  Wholesale centers  Hotels  Shopping websites 3.3 SCOPE OF FUTURE ENHANCEMENT  Global retail of E-commerce sales will increase in whole over the world.  Ruler areas can be developed through E-commerce.  Mobile shopping will be rise through E-commerce.  AI will be use more and more in E-commerce.  B2B E-commerce will continue to out perform B2C E-commerce.
