CORONA, CA (June 22, 2011) – Only a few days remain for the Summer Arts at Dos Lagos
Juried Art Show which is drawing visitors from throughout Southern California. Admission is
free to the show with more than 400 pieces of artwork at The Shops at Dos Lagos, on Temescal
Canyon Road between Weirick Road and Cajalco Road in Corona, just off I-15.
Most of the Jury-accepted show art is available for purchase at the Gallery, which is open daily
through Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 12 to 5 p.m. at the center. The artists will
receive 70% of sold artwork with 15% donated to the Corona Art Association (CAA) and 15% to
the Riverside Arts Council (RAC).
Art Gallery at Dos Lagos 1st place winner Steven J. Mueller Heart Gallery photographic Exhibit
of Perris, CA
The Summer Arts at Dos Lagos Juried Art Show features a special Heart Gallery photographic
exhibit to help raise awareness about foster care and to help find adoptive families for children.
Visitors to the Juried Art Show can also register for the chance
to win exclusive art prizes which including VIP tickets to the
2011 Laguna Beach Pageant of the Masters, with guided
backstage tour, and VIP tickets to the Los Angeles County
Museum of Art Tim Burton Exhibition.
A silent auction at the Summer Arts at Dos Lagos Juried Art
Show is underway to benefit the CAA and the RAC. People
can bid for the chance to own the impressive “Lady Gaga” and
“Jimi Hendrix” paintings acclaimed artist Gregory Adamson
created last week at the Dos Lagos Amphitheater. The highest
bidder for the paintings will be notified after the Art Show
Laguna Pageant of the Masters Giveaway
closes on Saturday, June 25.

Summer Arts at Dos Lagos continues through June with other free movie, art, music and
theater events:
Free Movies at Dos Lagos Stadium 15 Theatre
The free Tuesday and Wednesday 10 a.m. movies during June Summer Arts at Dos Lagos will

Movies Under the Stars
This Thursday, June 23, starting at 6:30 p.m., children can get free super hero caricatures
before Shrek Forever After begins at dusk. Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2: Roderick Rules is the final
Movie Under the Stars feature on Thursday, June 30. Come early to watch award-winning
Corona artist Lysa Ashley create an original chalk painting and children will get free supplies to
create their own chalk artwork. Beverages, food and snacks are available for purchase during
the Thursday movie events from Miguel’s, Dos Lagos Stadium 15 Theatre, and Rocky Mountain
Chocolate Factory.
Griff Hamlin and the Circle City Horns
Enjoy the big sounds of the swinging band in a free performance on Friday, June 24 from 6 to 8
p.m. at the Dos Lagos Amphitheater. Guitarist Griff Hamlin and Laura Hamlin on saxophone,
lead the blues band with Chris Atchley on drums, Ted Vautrinot on bass, Quinton Hufferd on
keyboard, Ken Mengel on trombone and Michael Gaughan on trumpet.
Christian Arts Theater Performs Saturday and Sunday
The Christian Arts Theater (CAT) of Corona presents “The Story Tellers from Page to Page” in a
dynamic FREE musical production on two weekend days at Summer Arts at Dos Lagos. The
talented youth performers will present classical and current musical theater favorites at the Dos
Lagos Amphitheater at 4 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.

Dos Lagos Farm & Artisan Market
Enjoy live music at the market which features unique hand blown glass, soy candles, handmade
dolls and animals, woodcrafts and more crafts , as well as gourmet food and fresh produce.
The market is open every Tuesday from 3 to 7 p.m. and will continue after Summer Arts in Dos
Lagos ends, through October 25.
