opportunity and training
through process of
convergence, synthesis,
evaluation and formation of
knowledge and skills that
enable people.
• Cultural values of the majority of Pakistanis are derived
from Islam.
• System reflects and strengthens social, cultural and
moral values.
• Interventions have to be based on the core values of
religion and faith. To create a sense of unity and
nationhood for the people of Pakistan.
There are three regions all over a country; southern, northern
and central.
Managing Director-------Region wise Regional
Directors--------Branch head------
---------senior mistress---------teachers---------admin
and domestic staff
The provincial Education Departments are
headed by their respective Provincial Education
Ministers. The provinces are further divided
into
districts for the purpose of administration.
•Conditions of employments
•Regulations
•Leaves
•Separation
•Payment deductions
•Professional ethics
•Training and staff development programs
The managerial functions are
not practiced as such as there
are no rules made and there is
no management to enforce on
both the teachers and
students.
Strengths
•Higher quality education
•Well equipped computer labs
and libraries
•Strong management and
administration
•Curriculum implementation for
all subjects
•Qualified faculty
Weaknesses
•Teachers are working without
being time bound especially in
time of Examinations
•Competition with the regional
top level school
Opportunities
•International training
by foreign tutors
•Continued expansion; The Smart
School (project of TCS)
•Trainings programs under its own
management
•Admission without the differences
of race, religion or ethnicity
Threats
•Staff turnover due to low salaries
•It is not able to cater lower middle
or lower class pupils due to high fee
•It is known for its bold school
environment for higher grade
students
Strengths:
•Free Primary and Secondary
Education.
•Production and publication of text
books for class I to XII.
Threats:
•Political or absent teacher in regular
classes.
•The gross root or primary education was
entirely ignored
•No modernization in exam system
•Pressure group of associations of
teachers.
•High dropout rate.
Opportunities:
•Pre-service and in-service teachers
training.
•Continuous professional development
(CPD).
•Development schemes.
•Admission for students without the
differences of race, religion or ethnicity.
Weaknesses:
•Poor Quality of Teachers & Managers.
•In-adequate financing.
•Poor monitoring & evaluation.
•Imbalance in primary, middle &
secondary schools.
•Overcrowded classrooms.
•High quality education
•Strong management
•Well-rounded facilities in the school
•Intervention of management and staff
for the betterment of students
•Quicker expansion in terms of branches
all over the city
•Provide free and compulsory Primary
education to Matriculation.
•Dual medium of language.
•Dual timing of School.
• The management from regional office shall make sure to give salaries to
teachers according to their qualification, experience and competitive
schools salary packages.
• TCS should implement flexible timings for school management and
teachers.
• The pressure on teachers should be minimized in terms of period
allocation.
• TCS must have a package for students who belong to lower class and
can’t afford high fee.
• There is a need to re-work upon the strict discipline and conduct
especially for higher grades.
•Improve teachers’ knowledge of the subject and
equip them with a wide repertoire of teaching skills.
•Future policy reforms will emphasize the teaching of
science subjects in English at public secondary schools.
•Improve in Learning Environment.
•Equipped laboratories.
•Increasing education budget.
•Revise Format of syllabus
The overall conclusion and analysis of the report are the
high differences between the standards of a private school
and government school. The education of Pakistan lacks
the uniformity between private and public schools,
because of differences in management and curriculum
implementation. We have given our recommendations in
each case and compared the SWOT analysis that gives the
clear picture of how both the schools are functioning and
what are the future prospects for them.
