You Tube
• Did you know you can create slide shows from your photos
right from your You Tube channel?
7. Open Social Media: Where we tell it like it is
You Tube
• Why is this great?
It gives you another easy way to create engaging
content
Pics say a thousand words:
• Capture industry events you go to
• Company functions made fun
• Record of the difference you made (non-profit)
• Show off best picture contest winners in a more
fun and engaging way
• Integration with G+ makes it easy to distribute
• Imagination is your limit.

Facebook
• According to WSJ Facebook is testing to implement
the hashtag into it’s platform
• In my view it will be a great thing to help us find
relevant conversations on Facebook
• The graph search needs tools like this to help us focus
our search efforts

More Facebook
• According to All Facebook, in the upcoming news feed.
we will not be able to “unlike” a page directly from the
news feed (i.e. It will take more work to unlike a page)
• However, if you annoy your fans, they can still hide your
updates right from there
• So, if people start to un-like your page after the new
news feed is implemented, know that you’re doing something
really wrong!
11. Open Social Media: Where we tell it like it is
More Facebook
• According to All Facebook, soon we will have a more visual
means of choosing where we want to share content on FB
12. Open Social Media: Where we tell it like it is
Upcoming on Facebook for sharing content

Pinterest
“If you have a verified website, you’ll get information about how
many people have pinned from your site, how many people have
seen these pins, and how many people visited your site from
Pinterest. We’ll also show you a selection of your most repinned,
most clicked, and most recent pins so you have a better idea of
what’s popular. For example, if you have a travel blog, you’ll be
able to see whether people are pinning your ski vacation posts or
beach vacation posts more.” Directly from Pinterest blog
