3. About SharePoint Cincy
Do you provide Microsoft SharePoint products and services to the Greater Cincinnati/Kentucky and, Dayton/Columbus corporate
marketplace? Do you want access to an incredibly rich and diverse set of potential customers from the Region all in one place?
Then, SharePoint Cincy 2012 is a must-attend event for you and your organization.
RICH, DIVERSE, COMMITTED AUDIENCE
• A distinguishing aspect of SharePoint Cincy is the event’s rich audience mix and the commitment to the subject they
demonstrate by paying a registration fee. This strong mix provides unique benefits to the sponsors as well as the
participants themselves.
• Nearly 400 professionals from a wide range of companies, industries, and roles attended our inaugural event, SharePoint
Cincy 2011, last March. The participants from last year’s event came from large Fortune 500 Companies (e.g., P&G, Kroger)
as well as small/mid-size companies, they came from all sectors (e.g., Healthcare, Higher Ed, Financial Services, IT services
etc.), and they came from a wide variety of IT and business roles – CIO/decision makers, Application Developers, System
Admins, Information Architects, Site/Content Owners, and IT Professionals. SharePoint Cincy is held at the NKU METS Center,
located only minutes from downtown Cincinnati and the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.

4. About SharePoint Cincy
STRONG, RELEVANT CONTENT
• SharePoint Cincy brings together National and Regional thought leaders, Microsoft Certified Trainers, Microsoft engineers
and Microsoft MVPs & MCMs all in one place to present across a wide range of tracks/topics: Creating Business Value,
Application Development, Infrastructure/Admin, Enterprise Content Management, Workflows, Business Intelligence,
Mobility, Cloud, and Social Networking.
• We rigorously screen the breakout session topics/speakers so that they are relevant and actionable for participants (i.e., no
sales pitches). Session topics/speakers are a good mix of real-world case studies presented by “customers” as well as
relevant technical sessions presented by “providers”. As an event sponsor, you may have the opportunity to present during
one of the scheduled Breakout Sessions.
SharePoint Cincy will be held at the METS Center facility on 3/16/12. 400-500 participants are expected to attend this all-day
event. We will feature an exhibit hall for promoting your SharePoint-related products and service and there are several other high
value/visibility opportunities throughout the event. General admission to SharePoint Cincy 2012 has been set at $250, with an
early-bird rate of $199 if registered by February 29th, 2012.

14. Preconference Workshop
Sponsorship Opportunity
Custom Packages
• Work with the SharePoint Cincy Planning Committee to sponsor and develop key preconference workshops.
Description:
• We are planning a series of ½ day workshops on Thursday, 3/15 prior to the main event on 3/16. These will be “deep-dive”
sessions on targeted topics. Each workshop will target a specific role-based audience (e.g., developers, admins, etc.) or
industry groups (e.g., Higher Ed, Healthcare, etc.).
• We are willing to put together a customized sponsorship package for any of these sessions and/or for the overall event/day.
This could range from participation/leadership of a session, conducting a private, invitation-only training/demo session, as
well as traditional marketing/sponsorship opportunities. Contact Geoff Smith (gsmith@lpenterprises-llc.com) to discuss
ideas/opportunities to design/create, facilitate, or participate a potential workshop. For questions/interest in general
sponsorship or marketing opportunities for this day of workshops, contact Denise Bartick (Denise@maxtrain.com).

15. SharePoint Cincy
Speaker Guidelines
One of the benefits of being a title, platinum, or gold SharePoint Cincy Sponsor is having priority consideration in submitted speaking proposals.

SharePoint and are skilled and experienced communicators. We expect our speakers to clearly present an information-packed session
including practical solutions to real world business challenges and/or to teach new skills.
Acceptance of your speaking proposal will depend on the timeliness of the topic, relevance, and your experience as a SharePoint expert and/or
instructor.

• Speaker name(s), mailing and email addresses, telephone and cell numbers
• Title of session, class or workshop
• Abstract submission, describing the session and what attendees will take away from it
• Indicate which version of SharePoint you will be discussing or whether it is a general non –version specific presentation
• Level of session (Introductory, Intermediate or Advanced)

• Any prerequisites of the proposed session, such as proficiency or specific hands-on experience.
• Any set-up/technical requirements needed
• Speaker bio
• High resolution digital headshot of speaker.
Please submit your information electronically as an e-mail or Word document to conference management via Geoff Smith
(gsmith@lpenterprises-llc.com) Please note that we reserve the right to edit titles, descriptions and bios to fit our format.
