In our school kids celebrate "La mona" creating their own cake, decoring it and eating it.

2. LA MONA DE PASCUA
La Mona de Pascua is a Spanish Ester Cake.
Godparents, traditionally, give it to their godchildren hence the word
“Mona”- the Moroccan term meaning gift.
La Mona is very popular in Catalonia’s bakeries.

3. LA MONA RECIPE
The last day of the school before Easter holidays, the students make La Mona. It is an
inclusive activity where all the students can participate, taking into account the different
needs.
Our own recipe contains the following ingredients:
- Sponge cake
- Chocolate
- M&M’s
- Chocolate Eggs
- Chocolate rabbit
- Feathers
