My Roles & Responsibilities
• Optimization and maintenance of warehouse systems and ensure productivity targets are met
and oversee the maintenance of warehouse and labor management with effective productivity
measuring tools.
• Different sizes of cargoes are handled and storage done in High racks and bulk area
depending on the volume dimension of the material. Vehicles are also planned based on the
volumetric weight from different locations across PAN India
• Making sure that the health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility
for the security of the human, building & inventory with laid QSHE policies

• Have a more strategic role and deal with planning, coordinating, administration and
general management issues, which include the day-to-day follow up with staff and
over seeing work organized by team leaders, shift leaders and supervisors.
• Having a clear understanding of the company's policies and vision and how the Ware
house contributes to these and ensure 5S activities inside the warehouse.
• Regular communication with clients and ensuring timely, accurate and efficient shipment
of all customer orders & conducting periodical warehouse houses audits.
• Coordinating with different partner transport vendors in transport activities of Bharti Airtel,
Nokia and Vodafone across PAN India for road transportation.
• Follow up and instructs Kuehne + Nagel Air freight and Sea freight department for export
shipments through ocean and air. The container sizes was decided by us working on a tool
and inform the end customer regarding the requirement of containers for ocean movement
• Generation of monthly invoices at the end of the month based on the services provided as per
the KPI and follow up of receivables as per the stipulated time
1) Prior to the above role, was Site manager for Schneider Electric India Operations warehouse
(80,000 Sq ft). Responsible for the Schneider Distribution Centre at Chennai, Tamil Nadu
from Kuehne + Nagel, coordinating with Schneider DC Manager.
2) Was responsible for managing all aspects of Warehouse operations for Bonfiglioli Transmission
(Industrial gear manufacturers & traders). Managing a staff of 130, for 2 shift operations at
customer premises. Acted as an extension to the customer’s business.

• Provided all logistical support for products used by the Organization.

My Roles & Responsibilities
• Overseas and local purchase of machines, spares, Caterpillar parts, trucks, light vehicle spares,
tires, fuel, consumables and drugs to Samartex Hospital. Price comparisons of the various
suppliers & negotiation for better price before the final order is made.
• Follow up on goods ordered mainly with the European suppliers through a German forwarder
partner and keeping track on each order till the goods are received in the company’s premises.
Worked on internet based system provided by the forwarding & collecting partner in Germany.
Liaise with the clearance team in every imports of the company.
• Inventory management of spare parts for the heavy machines(CAT), trucks (Renault, MAN,
Actros) involved in felling and moving the logs from the bushes and other machines which are
involved in the process of converting it to timber, plywood, veneer and carvings.
