EXPERIENCE: Bank Alfalah Limited – Islamic Banking Group Office Finance – RANGE II September 2010 - to To-date  Preparing Statement of Financial Position and Statement of Comprehensive Income of Islamic Banking Group on Daily basis on the basis of consolidated Affairs & General Ledger.  Updating IBG Premium position on daily basis and maintaining rack rates & premium rates of various products of the Bank.  Preparing weekly - (CASA) - Current & Saving Account detail for IBG.  Multiple Management reporting.  Providing guidelines to IBG branches/regions to comply with BAL policies, and to enforce rectification if found beyond.  Liaison with Conventional Head office, Islamic Treasury, Reconciliation dept. and on numerous issues.  Various SBP Reporting including o Statement of - Assets & Liabilities - Monthly o Statement Position – SBP No. of Financees & Depositors - Monthly o Statement of Classified Borrowers – Monthly. o Statement of Cash Management – Monthly. o Closing Quarterly statement (Few Statements)  Maintenance of Central office Book Including o Fixed Asset Schedule. o Prepayments & Accruals. o Reversal of Specific Provision. o Charity Collection from branches. o Reimbursement to all Region & Group office Expenses o Payment of Shariah Advisor Fee o Settlement of all payable account before month end process o Fuel reimbursement of central office staff o Other Activities in division book if need or Management requirement  Taxation o Coordinate with Tax department on Exempted customer & Vendors o Profit tax reconciliation o Cash withdrawal tax reconciliation o PSID preparation for IBG Branches o Develop and implement centralized process of WHT and submit IBG branches tax on consolidated basis on every week  Monitoring o Monitoring of profit rates with others Islamic as well as others conventional Banks o Islamic Treasury borrowing and placement monitoring with branches deposit level o Monitoring/Supervising of branches/regions through General Ledgers (GLs). o Formed and Implemented auto generated Balance sheet and PNL for daily monitoring at branch level, provided in person training to branch managers and branch accountants.
  2. o Contributed significantly in bringing loss making branches into Profits, through reduction in Administrative Expenses while watched transactions like a hawk.  IBG T-24 Project o Team member to assist IBG T24 Finance Team since UAT o Part of IBG T24 Finance team in branch migration process on T24 till last branch migrated  IBG Oracle Financial Project o Core Team member of IBG Oracle Financial Project especially in Account Payable Module since UAT till implementation and make sure smoothly working in current environment. o Monitoring of Oracle Financial reports and checks its integration with T24 & Tear Data reports to make sure provided reports must take all impact during the data rotation from one system to another system. o Responsible to run financial authorization of vendor invoices input by ATO Department and generate payment advice to release vendor payment on time.
