Aberthaw - Pioneering Technology
– Joint project between Cansolv Technologies Incorporated
(CTI) and RWE npower.
– The pilot plant will be designed, engineered and
manufactured by CTI to capture 50 tonne CO2/day;
approximately equivalent to 3 MWe. Will also demonstrate
SO2 removal.
– CTI will supply the necessary solvents, train RWE npower
staff and remotely monitor and interpret the data collected.
Required to achieve an aggregate minimum 8400 hours of
operation which will be achieved over a period of up to 24
months from commissioning.
