3. INTRODUCTION
From a very early time period, Citrus species are
widely used as a source of medicine, fruit,
cosmetics and many other prospects of life.
Citrus have traditional medicinal values thus it is
the most cultivated plant throughout the world
and is consumed widely by humans to treat
certain diseases. It has many outstanding
properties which have great healing powers and
they are extremely rich in their beneficial
contents.
