Career History and Select Achievements

Position: Senior Futures & Options broker
A global derivatives brokerage which gave me the opportunity to construct a new business after MF Global folded.
Give daily advice to global institutions including one of the biggest global funds (Millenium Asset Management).
Have constantly endeavoured to maintain the highest of standards involving best execution for my clients but
stripping costs where inefficiencies have been discovered. Engaged to facilitate current business and introduce
new business in a strict regulatory framework. This has often involved numerous trips abroad and successfully
acquiring the Millenium business after one particularly successful trip to Singapore. Constantly been a positive
influence in the trading room promoting team morale and improving intra-desk cooperation.
2. MF GLOBAL U.K, LONDON SEP 1999 - NOV 2011
Position: VP - Futures & Options
Helped maintain a high-volume, very successful global exchange traded derivatives execution and clearing desk.
Centrally involved with KYC procedures involving potential new client business. Promoted new business ideas
highlighting an increasing move towards screen trading and promoting various platforms to maintain an active
presence in these products. Using skilled screen order execution coupled with good fundamental technical analysis
was able to consistently promote successful client business. This involved producing daily technical reports on the
main markets my clients traded (Bund, Bobl, Schatz, Treasuries).
Gained my own client base organically through gaining trust with junior traders who have gone on to have
successful careers. Having developed into an established broker, on numerous occasions I have shared my
knowledge with scores of graduate trainees allowing them to gain a foothold in this industry, most of whom have
gone on to forge important careers themselves. It's a pleasure to say that these colleagues over the years remain
friends and in some instances they have gone full circle and ended up working alongside me again. In the rare
instances where staff performance was not up to scratch my recommendations were integral in exiting under-
achievers.
