Couple’s Five Love Languages Workshop - Come and strengthen your relationship by discovering your love language
as well as your partner’s love language. Open to individuals and couples (single, married and non-married). This fun
workshop will be offered at Seabee Memorial Chapel May 2, from 6 - 8:30 p.m. There will be FREE childcare and a FREE

Diversity Committee Pizza Sale Fundraiser - The NCBC Diversity is raising money by sponsoring a pizza sale May 9,
at 11:30 a.m. Pizza selections include: Pepperoni, Sausage, Ham and Cheese for $10 each (cash only). Pizza's must be
preordered and submitted to Lt Choi, 871-2454 no later than May 8. Order the pizza by contacting committee
representatives: BUCN Miller/NMCB 74; BU2 Walker/NMCB 11; RP3 Valle/NMCB 133; CMCS Sawyer/NCG2; LT Choi/CBC;

Building Managers Training - Training for all Building Managers under the NCBC Area of Responsibility will take place
May 9, 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the Training Hall, building 446. Attendance is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED as this training is
different from any previous training.
Celebrate Asian Pacific American Heritage Month - The Diversity Committee will sponsor an Asian Pacific American
Heritage Program May 16, 10 - 11 a.m. at the NOSC, building 114 drill deck. Program guest speaker is WLOX TV reporter
Trang Pham Bui, and will include singing, dancing and plenty of delicious food. Everyone with authorized access to NCBC
is cordially invited to attend.
Coastline Community College Summer Registration - Coastline Community College is holding early registration for

picnic areas. The Grill is open Monday – Friday from 6:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. and offers a lunch delivery option too from 11

~ Warm weather is here and the pool is open. Dive in for great exercise or bring the kids out for some fun in the sun.
The pool is open Monday – Friday from 5:30 – 8 a.m. for active duty military only. From 8 a.m. – noon, all other eligible
patrons can enjoy swimming laps and from noon – 7 p.m., the pool is open to the entire family. Water aerobics is also
back by popular demand on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11 – 11:45 a.m.

~Women’s Bible Study - Women’s Bible Study is held Wednesdays at 11 a.m. at the Seabee Memorial Chapel. Free
child care is available.
~Looking for a church? The Seabee Memorial Chapel holds services every Sunday that might suit your needs.
Protestant Services include a Gospel Service at 8 a.m. and Divine Worship Service at 10:30 a.m. Catholic Services include
Catholic Mass at 9:30 a.m. There is also a Catholic Mass Tuesdays at 11:15 a.m.
~ Seabee Pantry – The Seabee Pantry is always in need of donations to restock the food pantry. Donation drop-off sites
are located at the Navy Exchange, Chapel, Commissary, Fleet and Family Support Center and Armed Forces Retirement
Home. Everyone affiliated with NCBC can use the Seabee Pantry. For more information, contact the chapel.
~ Praise and Worship - The Seabee Memorial Chapel is looking for new members for the Praise and Worship Team for
the Divine Worship Service at 10:30 a.m. Sundays. If you can sing or play an instrument, you are invited to come share
your gift.

Annual Smokin’ the Sound - Smokin the Sound offshore powerboat racing will take place April 25 - 28 with the
fastest boats in the world in the Mississippi Sound. The colorful, exciting boats will race in eight classes with some
potentially reaching speeds nearing 200 mph over the race course. No binoculars needed! You can see all of the
excitement up-close by going to any of the premium or VIP viewing areas. Premium viewing areas have an awesome
panoramic view of the Mississippi Sound 8-mile racecourse along with restrooms, official merchandise vendors, varying

~ Semi Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament - The Society of American Military Engineers (S.A.M.E.) is holding a
scholarship fund raiser golf tournament May 17, at 1 p.m., at Bay Breeze Golf Course, Keesler Air Force Base. Lunch will
be served at noon and is included in the $75/player fee or $260/4 person team fee. The event features a $40K Shootout

April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month - a time to recognize that we each play a part in promoting the social and emotional well-being of children and families in communities. Couple’s Five Love Languages Workshop - Come and strengthen your relationship by discovering your love language as well as your partner’s love language. Open to individuals and couples (single, married and non-married). This fun workshop will be offered at Seabee Memorial Chapel May 2, from 6 - 8:30 p.m. There will be FREE childcare and a FREE dinner for all participants. Sign-ups are required. Diversity Committee Pizza Sale Fundraiser - The NCBC Diversity is raising money by sponsoring a pizza sale May 9, at 11:30 a.m. Pizza selections include: Pepperoni, Sausage, Ham and Cheese for $10 each (cash only). Pizza's must be preordered and submitted to Lt Choi, 871-2454 no later than May 8. Building Managers Training - Training for all Building Managers under the NCBC Area of Responsibility will take place May 9, 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the Training Hall, building 446. Attendance is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED as this training is different from any previous training. Celebrate Asian Pacific American Heritage Month - The Diversity Committee will sponsor an Asian Pacific American Heritage Program May 16, 10 - 11 a.m. at the NOSC, building 114 drill deck. Program guest speaker is WLOX TV reporter Trang Pham Bui, and will include singing, dancing and plenty of delicious food. Everyone with authorized access to NCBC is cordially invited to attend. Coastline Community College Summer Registration - Coastline Community College is holding early registration for their summer term (June 18 - Aug. 11) until May 28. The pool is open Monday – Friday from 5:30 – 8 a.m. for active duty military only. From 8 a.m. – noon, all other eligible patrons can enjoy swimming laps and from noon – 7 p.m., the pool is open to the entire family. Water aerobics is also back by popular demand on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11 – 11:45 a.m.
