To whom it may concern,
It is with great privilege that I write to you in recommendation of Scott Hofman. During the Summer of 2011, I had
the opportunity to be Scott’s supervisor while working at our summer camp. Scott is one of the greatest employees I
have ever worked with in my entire career. He is extremely dedicated, transparent, and a loving role model for
young children.
Scott is an independent, self directed person who is also able to communicate effectively and meet even the most
demanding challenges. During one session during this past summer, Scott took on three high demand positions due
to emergencies with other staff. Scott not only performed his job marvelously, he also took on the responsibilities of
the Head Counselor and the Program Supervisor.
Scott is not only a great employee, he is a stupendous individual, and I consider myself blessed to have met him,
professionally as well as personally. I consider Scott’s greatest strength is that he always makes sure to meet kids
where they are at. He is sure to see any and every child through the forest as well. Another strength that Scott
possesses is that he is always clear on all boundaries that exist with children. He is always thinking ahead and
always has an end game in mind specifically for that child. If I had to point out a weakness that Scott possesses it is
that he cares too much when it comes to children. Which is something that I truly envied about him is that he is
unafraid to show such passion for young people.
Though I would love to keep Scott and his brilliance to myself until the end of time, I believe I would be doing him
a disservice. I firmly believe that Scott can and will excel at any and everything he puts his mind to. I also believe
that any organization would be blessed to have him part of their team!
