Perhaps you want to have a single classroom blog that is populated by your learners themselves? Well Blogger makes this easy by providing a secret email address. Here's how

2. Step 1: Sign up for a blog and create it

3. Type ‘blogger.com’ in your search bar and click
on SIGN IN

4. Sign in to OR sign up for a Google account

5. Add a title and
add a proposed
URL address

6. After filling in
required details
click on the Simple
template
Click on Create
blog

7. Step 2: Remove About Me if it is
irrelevant to your blog

8. Blogger picks up your About Me info from
previous blogs. You can delete this

9. I want to remove
this so I click on the
little icon under
About me
Then I untick Show
about me

10. If I untick Show About Me I still see myself
but no further writing

11. If I choose Remove…
go to next slide to see
what happens

12. There is no reference to me any more

13. Step 3: Add your own information box at the side
of the blog

14. Go to Layout to choose a different gadget.
Then click on Add a gadget

15. From the list that
opens choose
Text and click on
the + sign

16. Add a title and your
own information

17. Step 4: Customise the look of your blog

18. Go to Theme/Customize to change your
background

19. Select Background and the dropdown arrow
next to Background Image
Then… this

20. Go to Advanced and choose matching texts
and colours

21. When you are finished click on Apply to blog…

22. Step 5: Choose all the privacy settings
for your blog

23. Make your blog unsearchable if desired

24. Set up a secret email address for others to use
to post blog posts, and save settings

25. Decide how you want your comments to happen

26. Select your time zone and save your settings

27. Get your students posting to your blog!
Try posting text and an image to your secret blog and see what
happens. You’ll be amazed!
If you are a teacher this is a great way to get your class posting to your
blog.
