1. Visual Studio IDE Shortcuts

2. • Ctrl+double click
– Dock/undock windows
– So ctrl+double click...

3. Find/Replace stuff
• Ctrl+f ->find -> in current file
– Enter -> find next
– Shift+enter -> find previous
– Esc close window
– Alt+down arrow -> expand window->need to double check....
• Ctrl+h->replace
– Alt+a = replace all
– Alt+r->replace next
• Ctrl+shift+f->find in files
• Ctrl+shift+h->replace in files
• So you can do it...

4. Some debugging short-cuts
• F5 -> start debugging
• Shift+f5 -> stop debugging
• Ctrl+shift+f5->restart debugging
• Will press f5
• Will press shift+f5
• Will presss ctrl+shift+f5
– Will stop and will start

5. • F10 -> step over
– Do not go inside the method
• F11 -> go inside the method/function
– Shift+f11->step out
• F9->set break point
• Ctrl+f9->disable break point
• Ctrl+f10-> run to cursor
• Ctrl+shift+i -> immediate window..

6. • With f11 -> going inside a method like
getmime type
– Shift+f11 -> if you are inside, say in the middle ->
you will get out of the method...
• With f10 it would not go there..
• Ctrl f10 -> go to current cursor point
• Just used ctrl+f10..will use one more time
• Now will use f10
