The Role of Augmented Reality in Education:
AR is set to revamp the world’s conventional learning model. It can bring about a positive change in the location and timing of classes and make learning more engaging. Today’s learning process is becoming much more tuned to bring in the elements of interaction and creativity. By providing visual representations, AR helps students acquire, process, and remember information. Thereby, it helps them to test out their knowledge in practice.
AR technology has also helped students to learn and understand their surroundings. The British Museum has already begun using AR technology to help students understand certain displays. It has proved useful in providing students practical knowledge of subjects such as math or science. Let us look into a few more benefits of AR in the educational sector.

2. INTRODUTION
Augmented Reality :
• It is one of the biggest technology trends right
now, and it’s only going to get bigger as AR
ready smartphones and other devices become
more accessible around the world.
• It is a technology that lets people superimpose
digital content (images, sounds, text) over a
real-world environment.
Virtual Reality :
• It is the use of computer technology to create a
simulated environment which can be explored
in 360 degrees.
• VR places the user inside the virtual
environment to give an immersive experience.
3. ROLE OF AR/VR IN REAL WORLD-
AR lets the user experience the real world,
which has been digitally augmented or
enhanced in some way.
VR, on the other hand, removes the user
from that real-world experience, replacing
it with a completely simulated one.
Because VR requires complete immersion,
VR devices shut out the physical world
completely.
4. ROLE OF AR IN EDUCATION SYSTEM-
AR is able to describe 3D models,
manipulate virtual objects and provide
experiences based on abstract concepts.
Compared to practical learning videos,
learning using AR is interactive, so there is
two-way learning between students and
learning media.
AR is an interactive learning media that
can increase students' interest,
concentration and satisfaction with the use
of new technology in learning.
5. ROLE OF VR IN EDUCATION SYSTEM-
Virtual Reality provides a great opportunity to interact with the 3-D
environment, which is virtually designed by humans.
Examples of fully immersive VR technologies are mobile VR, high-
end head-mounted displays or HMDs, and enhanced VR.
In VR, the feeling of presence and the level of realism can be seen as
an indicator of the quality of AR experiences.
6. In several studies, AR and VR have been
found to make teaching and learning more
efficient and attractive. Bringing VR and
AR technology in the classrooms for the
students to improve the quality of
education. By implementing technology
with education, the aim is to build an
innovative world.
