Description of the Project:
This project involves designing and detailing of new and modifying the existing primary and
secondary structural parts and brackets for aircraft A350-XWB-900/1000, nose fuselage (Section 11) and
central fuselage (Section12-15) in CATIA V5 with adaptation to the Environment (Geometrical Reference
Mockup) available in VPM.
Part/Assembly/Installation Drawings are Checked-In to the ENOVIA VPM in the corresponding
cabinet. Bill of Material (BOM) is created in PDM LINK and released for manufacturing. Engineering change
note (ECN) and Design Query Note (DQN) are implemented according to the customer requirement on
various parts and assemblies.

Description of the Project:
• Involved in creation of brackets from basic inputs like the fixations and IPs and taking care of
surrounding parts for interference - Carried out the work through VPM for better visibility.
• Involved in creation of complex sheet metal and machined brackets and tried to optimize the design
following the inputs from stress.
• Tried to reduce the number of parts by designing brackets which could fit in different places by
maintaining minimum deviations.
• Explored various options on the sheet metal work bench to optimize the time taken and shared the
lessons learnt /best practices with the team- resulting in higher efficiency of the team.
• Created BOM through PDMLink SSCI.
5) Project: A350-Flight Test Installation for WING
