- Our technology -
Parabolic trough collector operation principle:
• A parabolic collector uses just the direct incident radiation.
• The incident radiation is focused onto an absorber tube in order to
heat the thermal medium circulating through it.

• Main expected results:
1. 219,46 kWh/m2a annual collector useful heat
2. 190,93 kWh/m2a annual solar heat supplied to the process
3. The use of parabolic trough collectors will save 2.856 l of heating oil per year,

1. Constant and fluid communication with suppliers and with the
responsible persons involved in the installation is required when
having short period for planning and installing.
2. Take into account the necessity of space for components
LESSONS LEARNED DURING THE PLANNING AND INSTALLATION

LESSONS LEARNED DURING THE PLANNING AND INSTALLATION.
3. Setting parabolic collectors in free land areas can be challenging. It is really
important to fix them in an specific position. With this same regard, the foundation
of the buffer has to be perfectly plumbed and with no slope.

4. Soil´s type and its characteristics are a key point when deciding how to fasten
collectors on free land.
5. Take into account pressures and temperatures of old and new system, to plan
a smooth integration and to have an efficient and simple to maintain system.
6. All hydraulic system which should be combined in the future have to be put into
the planning at the very beginning, in order to facilitate the installation.
