I have been an avid reader and writer since the age of five. In fact, I was six years old when the librarian at our rather small library told my mother that I had read all the age appropriate books they had. I promptly started re-reading books in the library. I love words and their ability to hold alternative meanings, bring understanding, and connect people to the world. This passion lead me to pursue degrees in English and Journalism and a minor in Creative Writing from Franklin College, a small, liberal arts college south of Indianapolis.
