I
n law school, Chris Hilde-
brand was taught to be
detached, uninvolved, and
simply a tool for clients.
But that’s never been his style.
Instead he’s built a client-focused
firm with a foundation of mutual
respect and understanding.
“Here, we care what happens
to clients—it’s our responsibility,”
says the founder of Hildebrand
Law. “We sit across from them
in meetings, not at the head
of the table. They know we’re
committed to achieving the best
possible outcome.”
Experience Matters
Leveraging more than 100 years
of combined experience, the
Hildebrand Law team can effec-
tively manage complex cases,
such as those involving business
valuations or child abuse. Often,
the attorneys are hired to advise
on cases smaller firms may not
have the bandwidth to handle.
“There’s not a single issue we
haven’t dealt with many times
before,” says Hildebrand. “We
know how to present evidence
that is most helpful. Our repu-
tation with experts, other attor-
neys, and the courts means that
when we present facts, they know
we have evidence to prove them.”
‘More than a Divorce Firm’
Understanding that many clients
enter their office without any
understanding of the legal pro-
cess, the Hildebrand Law team
encourages clients to be involved.
A lawyer and paralegal detail
every relevant issue, statute, and
case law so clients can walk out
with a complete picture of the
legal process and their strategy.
Though each case is approached
with the goal of settlement, a plan
for litigation is also detailed so
everyone is prepared should the
need arise.
“The process will be stressful
regardless whether the case is
settled or litigated,” explains
Hildebrand. “When you empower
clients to become part of the
decision-making team, they are
able to feel more in control.”
Hildebrand notes that para-
legals are an integral part of the
team, many times being involved
in some of the aspects of the case
and supporting clients through-
out the emotional journey.
“We’re more than a divorce
firm,” says Hildebrand. “We help
clients transition from a bad time
to a new life in a positive way. It’s
a gift to be able to make such an
impact on people’s lives.”

From a
Grateful Client
As a senior Army
Officer with a very
messy divorce and three
kids, I needed a smart,
compassionate attorney.
Chris carefully explained
the fiscal and potential
emotional costs of each
course of action while
keeping my ultimate goal
in clear focus. He tirelessly
researched the Army
regulations and tied it into
the Arizona law flawlessly.
As a direct result of his
efforts, my kids and I are
living a normal and happy
post-divorce life. I would
recommend him to
anyone, anytime.
