Meet the Participants
Business Case Challenge
Through SuitUp, volunteers from Salesforce DMV and students from Waverly High,
Farmington High School, Summit Schools participated in a SuitUp business competition
in which they created a new feature for DoorDash that helps incentivize eating at local
restaurants in the community. Volunteers coached students in various departments
before helping them pitch to judges for a cash prize.

Salesforce DMV’s Impact
SuitUp asked students if Salesforce DMV’s SuitUp
competition made an impact on what they want to
study when they go to college. 80% of students
said the volunteers helped them come to this
conclusion.

“I learned how to be more confident. During my first competition, I
was so nervous to present, but this week I felt better because I gave
myself time to practice and my coaches were really helpful. – SuitUp

My favorite part was listening to the CEOs come up with so many
great ways to improve DoorDash. – Salesforce volunteer
I want to shout out our coaches THEY WERE SO HELPFUL. I think
after a while you use the judges feedback so much and use it to get
better and better every time and you grow and learn new skills each
time and you are then able to do everything better and more
effectively. The skills we learn is the prize. – SuitUp student

Business Case Challenge Through SuitUp, volunteers from Salesforce DMV and students from Waverly High, Farmington High School, Summit Schools participated in a SuitUp business competition in which they created a new feature for DoorDash that helps incentivize eating at local restaurants in the community. Volunteers coached students in various departments before helping them pitch to judges for a cash prize. Winning Team: Eat LOCAL! Team 1: Dash Rewards Team 2: Eat LOCAL! Team 3: Dash Bucks SuitUp to the Challenge

Salesforce DMV’s Impact SuitUp asked students if Salesforce DMV’s SuitUp competition made an impact on what they want to study when they go to college. 80% of students said the volunteers helped them come to this conclusion.   • 9. During the competition, we overheard… “I learned how to be more confident. During my first competition, I was so nervous to present, but this week I felt better because I gave myself time to practice and my coaches were really helpful. – SuitUp student My favorite part was listening to the CEOs come up with so many great ways to improve DoorDash. – Salesforce volunteer I want to shout out our coaches THEY WERE SO HELPFUL. I think after a while you use the judges feedback so much and use it to get better and better every time and you grow and learn new skills each time and you are then able to do everything better and more effectively. The skills we learn is the prize. – SuitUp student
