More than 27 years of Professional Experience as Copy Writer/Journalist/Designer of Pre
press Graphics, Illustrator, Cartoonist and Advertisement Layout including Magazine layouts,
logos, Ad Campaigns.
More than 15 years of experience as Web Designer, Flash animator, Web Content Developer and as
Designer of Web Graphics.
Worked as Journalist with Indian Express in Chennai from 1978 to1983. I have also worked
with Malayalam newspapers like Veekshanam, Janmabhumi and worked as illustrator/cartoonist for
Vanitha, Balabhumi, Childrens Digest, Deepika and Rashtradeepika too.
Worked as Copy Writer, Creative Chief and Visualizer and Art Director with many Advertising Agencies
in Kochi, Chennai and Coimbatore since 1983 till 1992. I have worked abroad in Saudi Arabia as the
Designer for Aramco Magazine and many other print media from 1992 to 1994.Worked as freelance web
designer, marketing consultant, marketing trainer and web developer since 1994 till this date.
I was in the Editorial Board of National Book Stall’s Encyclopedia Project for 5 years in 2000 to 2005 as
their Content and Art Editor, simultaneously contributing to Educational Book Publishers In Kochi and
Delhi based companies both in content and Illustrations for educational materials for children from 1
standard to Plus Two. I also worked as a Trainer for various educational and commercial establishments
for more than 5 years.

What I do now?
Right now I am working as Content Developer, Copy Developer and Copy Editor to an Educational media
company supervising, editing and visualizing educational content for several training establishments. In
my part time I work for insurance. Also i work as web designer and developer in the spare time.
My present take home Salary is Rs. 25,000/- plus petrol allowances, and TA for outstation travel if
need be.
My Skills: I am an expert in HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Photo Shop, Flash and Illustrator. I have a working
knowledge of PHP, Flash Action Script2. I have experience in Ajax. I know Search Engine Optimization
too. I am an expert in Photoshop, Flash and CSS based “responsive” web designing with more than 10
years on-the-job experience.
