          1     Data was difficult to access.
                (e.g. uSis, Evasys, Blackboard)
          2     Systems were intended for administration, not analytics.
                Data was not entered with analytics in mind
          3     Data was severly incomplete.
                (e.g. Fronter, Blackboard Learn 9.1)
          4     Tools were difficult to combine
                Conversion scripts needed to be written

                let’s not collect too little (keeping analytics in mind)
          2     Combining multiple tools is inevitable

                let’s keep it learner-centric
