making process
By Sam Daniels
2. When Are Teaser Trailers Made?
• A teaser trailer is a short version of a cinematic trailer
which are used to spark interest to the target audience,
getting them excited about the new upcoming film. They
are usually released months or even a year in advance
before the expected release date, which is used to
increase anticipation and desire to see this new film.
• A teaser trailer normally lasts between 30 seconds to a
minute. The trailer is often released before the film is
actually completed.
• Teaser trailers are sometimes made when the film is
actually still in the stage of production or being edited
and therefore may different versions of scenes that are
not in the finished film.
