1. Belief in Prophets: بالرسل إيمان
Importance & Need:
- Allah selected some people among human beings as his messengers
- They remind us the oath we took about lordship of Allah
- Prophethood is blessing of Allah, it is not acquirable Or a person is not chosen
prophet by Allah with the wish of people

them all generally ()
3- we believe specifically in those whose names have been mentioned
in Quran

3. Finality of Prophethood of Muhammad S.A.W
From

prophet after him, he is the last one.

unanimous that Muhammad S.A.W is last prophet
4- Logic:
Conditions in which Allah sends a new prophet:
i- the teachings of earlier prophet have been changed
ii- the teachings of earlier prophet were incomplete
iii- the earlier prophet was raised for specific period, people or region
4. Distinction of Prophet Muhammad S.A.W
Narrated Jabir bin `Abdullah: Allah’s Apostle said, “I have been given five
things which were not given to any amongst the Prophets before me. These
are:
1. Allah made me victorious by awe (by His frightening my enemies) for a
distance of one month’s journey.
2. The earth has been made for me (and for my followers) a place for
praying and a thing to perform Tayammum. Therefore my followers can
pray wherever the time of a prayer is due.
3. The booty has been made Halal (lawful) for me (and was not made so
for anyone else).
4. Every Prophet used to be sent to his nation exclusively but I have been
sent to all mankind.
5. I have been given the right of intercession (on the Day of Resurrection.)
