This image style is a good example
of how I want mine to be shown
as. The cinematic background and
writing above broadcasting the
game and what will be told inside,
is executed well. The style is well
done though as the theme of the
background colors and immersion
of it stays the same throughout
the whole front and back of the
magazine. The style is also good as
you would recognize this clearly
on the shelve who you were
looking for something, its eye
catching and very attractive. This
look will appeal to my audience as
it’s a safe but a very gamely
looking magazine, that although
not a lot is going on the magazine
cover gets its message across and
informs its audience what its
advertising. Instead of
overwhelming them with writing.
The image style of this website is really
good. I do really enjoy this kind of dark
texture for a style for a website. The
colors are dark, so that most images or
writing scripts used fit in with the
whole scheme of the website. The dark
tone of the website also entices the
viewer to get in closer to perhaps see
more, which then that particular person
sees more of what interests them, so
they stay on it more and view it more.
Much like the magazine the style is also
very cinematic and creative with their
use of the background. This kind of
design would appeal to its audience
because its very striking and there's a
lot for the viewer to gaze upon before
reading any of the information on
there. There is also a dominant
masculine headline used at the top of
the page, so mu guess would be that
this entices more male viewers than
female. This can also be noted with the
color scheme they have chosen.
This image style of bright and
striking works well for this kind
of gaming interview. As its
attractive to look at and
features the guy who is
obviously doing the show. This
is a good image style and I will
definitely focus on making mine
if similar standard. As it has
everything that I would like as a
style. This look and style of this
interview would appeal to this
audience because the look of it
and the layout of the interview
is very bright. In fact the look of
it makes it so the audience
could appeal to anyone. The
style of the man himself, also
appeals to his audience as he’s
old enough to interest a older
audience but how he dressed
appeals to a young as well.

In this particular layout, I will be using a
dark based color scheme, possible a red
background but a dark form of writing to
incorporate the light-ish background. I
think this will look good for this particular
magazine cover and will be easy to work
upon due to the background, which will let
me use many multiple color schemes and
fonts. I will also be making the font the
same throughout this cover, as I think that
it’ll make the cover look a lot more
professional. The background will be the
game that is the most exciting/the newest
coming out. I will also try not to fill my
whole cover with writing and try just to
leave it as the games cover and a bit of
information within It.

In this particular layout I will go with a light-ish
color scheme, possibly a light blue or a white. I
also might use a picture background because
that may advertise the game I’m showcasing a
lot more than just a background with a picture.
The font of this particular layout will be that of
a simple but mature font, so that it appeals to
all of the ages of my audience, looking at my
style sheet the fonts I have chosen are probably
the perfect ones, which is why one of them are
going to be chosen. I think formal yet casual
might be the best idea for a font presented on a
website because I want my work to look serious
but young, so that my younger audience don’t
feel intimidated and my older audience don’t
feel patronized.
5. Resources and software
Resources needed Software needed
I will be using a computer to use the majority of the
things I want to do, e.g. Photoshop
I will be using Photoshop because I need it to design and create
my work, for example my magazine and my logo.
I will bring Physical copies of magazines because it will hep me
understand the layouts and designs of already made magazines.
I maybe using audition to edit my game interview, as it’s a great
programme to edit my footage and add things in, such as music
to go in the background of the interview.
I will almost definitely need to use the internet for my products
as I might need to refer back to online magazines for guidance,
or almost definitely images off the internet to add to my
products.
I will be wanting to use premiere because like audition it
contains a great format to edit and change my gaming interview.
I will be using clips of interviews for my products, so I can
research, what questions, are good questions and what makes a
gaming interview interesting.
I will definitely be using Microsoft Word because I need it for my
proposal and a few perhaps practice ideas before I start my final
designs.
I will be using a voice recorder for my gaming interview because I
can get a great sound from it when uploading It onto premiere or
audition.
Power point is a absolute must for it to be used. As without it I
would not be able to do any of my evaluating of my work or any
work prior to my production.
6. Contingency Planning
Potential Issue Solution
If my computer does not work Try find a working computer that you are able
to use, if you can’t find one catch up at a later
date.
If there is no internet connection Try fixing the problem, if that doesn’t work try
allocating yourself where there is a suitable
place that has internet.
If I don’t keep well with my time Try schedule a plan of what needs to be done
and when, so that I won’t mess up my timing.
If I am absent for a while Try to catch up with my work as quick as
possible, before carrying on with the next stuff.
I don’t save so I lose my work Try save as much as possible, but if there is a
time where I forget to save, try to catch up as
much as I can.
I can’t find the correct images and fonts I would
like for my product
Try to find similar to the ones that you would
like, or keep looking until you do end up coming
up across it.
