There are three types of waste , given below ;
House hold wasta as municpal waste.
Industrial waste as Hazardous waste.
Biomedical waste as Hospitals waste as infectious waste.

Hazard Health
• If solid waste is not collected and allowed to accumulate they
may create unsanitary conditions.
• This may lead to epidemic outbreaks.
• Many diseases like chlorea , diarrhea, dysentry, plague or
gasatro intestinal diseases may cause and cause loss of
human lives.
• In addition improper handling of solid waste , a health hazard to
workers who come in direct contact with waste.

• If solid waste is not tratd properly decomposition and
putrification may take place.
• Organic solid waste during decomposition may cause
intolurable conditions for human beings.

• It is to use again especially in a different way or after
reclaiming or reprocessing
• Instead of buying new containers from the market use
the ones that are in house.
• Dont throw away the soft drinkcans cover them with
home made paper home paint and use them for pencil
stands or small vases.
• It Saves energy, pollution and money.
10. REDUCE
• Disposal goods ; paper plate , paper bowl , styrofoam
cup , plastic spoon , roll of papers , plastic plates ,
metal spoons , plastic drinking cups
• Recovery of one Ton paper can save 17 trees.
11. RECYCLING
• Recycling is the process of converting waste materials
into new materials and objects.
• Use shopping bags made of cloths or jute which can be
used over and over again.
• Recycling refers to the collection and reuse of waste
materials such as empty beverage containers
• Materials for recycling may be collected separatley
from general waste using separate bins
