2. Purpose :
The purposeof the Blood Bank Management Systemis to simplify and automate
the process of searching for blood in case of emergency and maintain the records
of blood donors, recipients, blood donation programs and blood stocks in the
bank.
Scope:
1. The system will be used for maintaining all the process and activities of blood
bank management system.
2. It provides an elegant management of blood, list of hospitals, blood banks and
donors online. The main purposeof this projectis to interconnect all the blood
banks, hospitals, donors into a single network, validation, store various data and
information of blood and health of each individual.
3. This system will be used to storedata over a centralized server which consistof
database wherethe individual information will not be accessed by a third party.
4. A smart phoneapplication of the systemcan be made.
5. Reaching as close as possible of donor from the emergency zone.
Functionality :
1.Will providethe searching facilities based on various factors. Such as blood
donors, differentblood groups etc.

3.Itwill Manage the information of donors.
4.To increase efficiency of managing the wholeprocess.
5.Itwill deal with monitoring the information blood types, storagearea etc.
6.Itwill show available free donor list.
