It's important how you start your presentation! How you start will tell people if

CREATE VARIETY
One way to learn to speak in public is to change your presentation. It will keep people's attention! Use video. Use pictures that stand out. As
much as possible, get your audience to take part! You can keep them awake by asking them questions. It helps not to talk all the time and use
different ways to get your point across.
SAY WHAT YOU MEAN
Clear speech makes a presentation even better for good public speakers. You want people to understand what you are saying, so make sure
you speak loudly. If the student in the back of the room can hear you, your volume is good. We know it's hard to do this when you're nervous.
If you're feeling anxious, try looking forward to projecting your voice, making eye contact with the audience, and using a few techniques

Even if our techniques don't work, it's possible that people won't be able to tell how nervous you are. Even if you don't feel confident, it helps
to act like you are.
SPEAK AT A GOOD PACE
When giving a presentation, it's very important to speak at a pace that
everyone can understand. Keeping a good pace gives people time to
understand what's being said, take notes, and ask questions. A good speaker
should know not to talk too fast because the audience needs time to
understand what is being said. At the same time, the pace shouldn't be so
slow that the presenter runs out of time (and the audience gets bored!).

HAVE A PLAN B
Make sure you have a copy of your presentation if it's on a computer or hard
drive. If the worst happens, having your notes on paper and some pictures
that don't depend on technology will help.
So, whenever you read "presentation skills are important," think "better presentations are very important." Because these skills are important
for an individual's success, as well as for success in business, reducing stress, being a leader, managing public opinion and image, etc. So, for
many people, the selection committee might be the first important audience they speak to. It may be called a "job interview," but what it is
is a presentation. Their success depends on their presentation being better than the others. The results are black and white, but the skills are
different colors. Everyday work in most organizations requires people to work together. That means giving a presentation to or for your
team. For your career to grow, you need to share your ideas with others. And if you want to move up, you have to teach someone else how to
